I hope it's better than revelations. I really didn't like revelations... To me the best AC was Brotherhood. And i played them all.

sounds realistic to me
I hope theres more fucking freeroam
Ugh.
Yesterday I told my friend about ACIII and how it was in the Revolutionary War. He said 'You mean the civil war? Nobody calls it the revolutionary war now'. We live in America and we are both in highschool.

All AC games are free roam
Don't get me wrong, the game looks good, but is it only me who thinks this is just a prank they're pulling? Doesn't look too real to me.

I'm not sure they'd want to go through the trouble of making a game to trick people into believing they're making a game
Kyd is a genius and a master at conveying themes by using music
if there is anything we don't need to worry about, it's the music
Kyd surely must be the hybrid reincarnation of Mozart, Beethoven, and some lost alien species that once dominated the planet.
What he did with Schubert's Ellens dritter Gesang was pure sex for the ears.
Here is a basic rundown of the new features in the upcoming GameInformer article, to be released next week:
......
There will be no more Mercenaries, Thieves, Courtesans, Romani or other factions, but there will be a replacement for them.
......

I hope to Christ that they'll include the Hessians as some of the tougher, more elite opponents you'll face insofar as this "replacement" is concerned.

I felt like Jannisaries in AC:R didnt make the job of being though you could still beat them so easly
I hope they remove the god awful 100% sync objective in missions, or at least make it possible to complete without crappy controls or buggy mechanics preventing it.
I felt like Jannisaries in AC:R didnt make the job of being though you could still beat them so easly
You're quite right. To me, they were really only intimidating when they got together in groups and proceeded to gang rape you.
The Hessians are really a fascinating subject. They had a tremendous amount of variety to their credit that could easily be implemented into the game in a creative fashion. Hussars, jägers, fusiliers, grenadiers, musketeers, and even a few artillery companies. And there were tons of them too that participated in the war (more than 18,000 initially landed here in the Americas when the war began).

Why would you want them to take out an extra feature? Not to mention they were all doable.
The Janissaries were terrible because it completely undid being able to take out groups in one attack chain, which was the largest improvement to ACB. Whenever Janissaries were involved, fights felt like a chore.
I'm so far behind in the assassins creed series. The last game I played was brotherhood and I didn't even finish it. I might get AC3 though since its taking place during the american revolution.

Honestly, just play them. Even if you have to grind through, they aren't as bad as you think.
I'm gonna miss Ezio. That's a character well done. I'm glad we got to explore his whole life over 3 games and a film. A game has never made me question the inevitability of death and old age and the consequences of such. Shuffling around as 90 year old Altair was oddly moving.
Can't wait for another great character.
I just hope this one doesn't eventually die of old age while sitting down like the other two.

I'm gonna spoil something for you
all the characters in Assassins Creed die
because the "real" story is in 2012

the only other way these guys can die is in a blaze of glory. it would also most likely prevent them from reproducing. which would create a time paradox.
unless the bloodline is continued with unwanted brothel bastards.
[editline]3rd March 2012[/editline]
also i agree with the 100% completion guy.
it's fucking ridiculous how horrendous the controls can be sometimes. constantly restarting missions because ezio or altair decided to jump onto the 100 foot drop instead of the ledge placed right in front of them.
Can't wait 2 days for the first trailer

Really? Can't wait
Did anyone else notice how the overall component of his cloak is a 18th Century French uniform? Pretty cool way of explaining how to get a pure white cloak like that.

most likely he crafts his own uniform, he's described as a predator

When you say Predator like that, i think this.
