Hope it isn't a brotherhood/revelations clone with just a different city.
Does the iPad not support pictures/video, or did you just make a really stupid assumption?

Not sure if it's spam mail or viral marketing. I'm going with the first.
I love how this game has gone from the Third Crusade to the Renaissance to Colonial America. so dope.
i have no doubt the campaign be amazing. i just hope they change the multiplayer and make it more similar to brotherhood than revelations.

I sincerely agree. I want the same flow that the multiplayer gameplay in Revelations had but I want each character to be unique like in Brotherhood. In Revelations it was just a set of weapons where each had a set of shared executions. In Brotherhood, each character had their own unique weapon and their own unique executions. Customization wouldn't be bad but keep a certain style for each character in terms of weapons and style.
Just watched the trailer recently.
Was i the only person who noticed THE HORSE?
I really hope they include horses in AC3, as i've only played Revelations so far!
I'm just happy the AC's port to pc is actually quite good, I'm not too bothered how long it takes for them to release the pc version as long as its done well

There were horses before Revelations, in AC1 & 2 and Brotherhood. Nothing new.

The fuck you smoking kid, what made you start with Revelations?
as i've only played Revelations so far!
You're going to have a hard time playing the games before that one, gameplay has improved greatly, especially from AC1 to AC2.

Playing AC1 isn't necessary tbh, you could just watch cutscenes on youtube and then play AC2, which is decent even after Revelations, and Brotherhood is better than Revelations imo.
Honestly the only game that's safe to skip is the first one. Everything you'd need to know is recapped before you start ACII. Everything else isn't really worth playing that repetitive as fuck game.
Aside from that, if you play one playing the series, you should definitely play them in released order. They're all gems.
Dudes.
What if.
Like.
What if you got multiplayer.
With like.
George Washington, Benedict Arnold, and like all those other guys.
Would be awesome, bustin' some ass as an Founding Father.

In the first AC also everyone you assassinate, perhaps not [sp]Al Mualim and that guy, Robert or Richard whatever[/sp], really believed they were doing good.
Oh god, I watch the trailer, and it's all about how the americans were "slaves" and had to fight for freedom, with shots of the assassin killing british guys.
I really, really hope they hold true to how they were exploring the moral ambiguity , and this is just marketing.
Also, I hope that with the new engine capabilities such as thousands of characters shown at once, they will go back to the original Assassin's Creed, in how it handled cutscenes - it was all in-game, ala half life 2, and was so much more immersive.

Bitch what you talking about, Altair is the most badass Desmond ancestor, AC is one of the best (if not the best) history. But i guess you wouldn't get the real feeling already having played the games ahead of him were the plot it's already quite explained.
Well it is possible to play the Series form AC3 on but you will miss some great experiences and the whole atmosphere. Watching some videos on youtube and reading about it is nothing compared to the interesting story telling and the puzzles.

Altair was the best protagonist, but the game overrall was just way too repetive, in my opinion atleast.

Bitch I never said Altair isn't badass, I just said AC1 is pretty bland compared to other games in the series. And you get to play as Altair in Revelations.

Also about multiplayer. Wouldn't it be nice to actually play some battle as regular soldiers, 32 vs 32 or 16 vs 16. Or maybe some sort of hunt, a group of 15 british soldiers tracking down an assassin? I mean something new instead of the regular The Ship type multiplayer. I'm sure there are a lot of nice game modes they can come up with.

Fuck, Imagine a four player assassin mission, That would be sweet, Timed assassinations. cover by arrow. I hope it's not just some random shit gamemode that feels tacked on
The problem with AC1 is that you're forced down by bureaucracy during the fucking crusades.

The main gripe I had with AC1 was there was little to no point in any proper stealth. Virtually all assassinations wound up with you just fighting and killing everyone to get to the target, then fighting and killing your way out.
At least AC2 emphasized stealth more.
I think III really has amazing promise. It'll be very interesting to see the drastic shift from the almost "classy" assassinations of ACII-Revelations to the more guerrilla style that had to be taken during the American Revolution. Connor will really have to be careful in his assassinations in towns and cities, seeing as how buildings weren't as high or complex as in Italy or The Ottomans. I just absolutely cannot wait for this game, this just looks so beautiful. I can't wait to perform more ambushes from trees and stuff.
Hopefully they'll bring back that mini-game you get from collecting animus fragments, could be a small game on it's own if you ask me.
It was so simple but so much fun.

Which mini-game?
Altair was the best protagonist, but the game overrall was just way too repetive, in my opinion atleast.
Really? Altair seemed very boring, while we literally watched Ezio's whole life.
Which mini-game?
The 5 you get from collecting the animus fragments, after collecting 30 you can play all of them on the animus island.
Not sure if calling them mini-games was correct.
Really? Altair seemed very boring, while we literally watched Ezio's whole life.
They're different characters, in the most prominent way being Altair a philosophical introvert while Ezio is a pragmatic extrovert. Altair has few words and thinks of higher subjects, Ezio talks with anyone about anything and doesn't give a shit about much.
Apparently Connor is like Altair in being introverted, also following a "Freedom fighter" goal, we'll see how he goes.

Oh those. I hated them. They were a good way to get backstory on characters but the whole premise of them wasn't any fun. Seriously when they said you'd be playing as Desmond in his own mind made from the Animus I was expecting something like this.

Instead we got that first person, creating blocks crap.

Introverted characters are cooler, but they're a lot harder to pull off right.
I always thought of freedom fighters as booming, heroic types, really.
Mute has to be one of the most broken pieces of shit in the multiplayer. How the fuck do they use it and I'm completely unable to do anything, but when I use it and I try to stun my pursuer they can still fucking counter it and get a contested kill.
