Can someone remind me, was changing weather confirmed? Season were, but I can't remember anything about weather. I'd just love to have a massive rainstorm like during the last Romulus lair in Brotherhood.

Well one of the pictures above have a massive rainstorm so with some luck it will actually be random weather and not just scripted moments during missions.

i bet there's gonna be some way of predicting the weather. most likely up atop sync points. maybe it'll simply be clouds coming your way and you could tell by the shape of the could what kind of storm it will be.

Don't get your hopes too high, I doubt ubisoft is going to really put a ton of effort into weather, it's not exactly a main point of the game.
it's something so obvious that they could do so easy that would make for an insanely awesome gameplay dynamic in that you could time your assaults with different weather.
rain and sleet makes guards less maneuverable and possibly easy slippy action could also wash away blood or traces of you. same with snow but you produce footprints so it's bad for you. and the whole visibility thing.
The more emphasis you put on natural environments (and you'll spend time hunting and in forests) the more important weather becomes.
and throwing some kind of electrically charged bomb at puddles with guards standing in them like sticky shockers from splinter cell

The trailer looked awkward compared to these screens. I think I'm used to trailers using in-game footage.

They've been working on this game since Assassins Creed II came out, so the only butterflies are Brotherhood and Revelations. I still enjoy them though.

Holly shit I am looking forward to climbing on those boats. I was always dissapointed with the lack of things you could do on boats in the previous games in terms of free running around on them.
