iirc they said that was just a mere rumor and something about how they wanted to have more different time periods and that WW2 and the present were to close together or something.
I like this setting, but i wish you could support the british (I mean, maybe you can, but probally not.) I would rather fight for Crown and Country then the Rebels. I'll probally still get it, though.

GTA, Bioshock, AC, HL, Fallout, TES, Alan Wake and Penumbra are my favorite games story and gameplay wise
They're so deep and powerful in story and gameplay
AC isn't JUST the story of the assassins you play, it's far deeper than that, but also very much about them, almost a plot within a plot. Impossible NOT to get really into it.
