people, dlc is an inevitable and unchangeable business plan brought into motion by major gaming devs. you have been complaining for 5 years now, I think it's time to accept that games are going to cost 60-70 dollars for the full content.
and fuck, assassin's creed deserves that money.
I hope they don't have DLC unless it's small things at a low cost
I want to go through another characters full life. Ezio's birth and end of revelations was awesome, because I got to hear the entire story of Altair and Ezio's lives
rarely hear about a characters entire life in any games

Most games rarely offer real closure, it just seems to keep going. I didn't really like Altair in the first game, but I nearly shed a tear toward the end of Revelations. I always liked Ezio, so I was pretty sad when his story ended.

end of AC2R was awesome
Ezio has a sweet deal with a chick and can retire now, and live happy. He's defeated all his enemies, he's won. Altair was OK, ac1 was great but very repetitive, AC2, far lesser so.
I really hate just how fucked up Altair's life became by killing Al Mualim. It honestly ruins his life.
What if. What if the boston tea party was really just the assassins getting rid of poisoned tea?
That would explain all the dead fish.

Yeah but i at least enjoyed seeing him again and seeing what happens in Revelations, it's a nice contrast to see how Altair spent his last years in comparison to how Ezio spent his.

Altair had a fucked up and hard, but good life
he was the man

but he couldn't bring back his family
but he couldn't bring back his family
He can make a new one, and still has Claudia + the brotherhood and all that
that sucks but he can still make the best out of what he has
I like how years of diving head first into the ground from hundreds of feet up finally caught up to Ezio.
I doubt they would, but I kind of hope you can use a Long Rifle in the place of the long bow. I just think it would be cool thing to have, kind of like the option to use heavy weapons in the prior games.
I remember seeing a screenshot of Connor using a musket/rifle to ambush some Redcoats so yes you can use a long rifle.

to be fair, AC1's trailer had a crossbow, but you couldn't use it in the released game.
besides, I think it'd be too heavy for an Assassin, and big. Not only that, but far shower than a bow.

It can't possibly be any bigger/heavier than the weapons you could get with the heavy sheath in Brotherhood.

Still, I can imagine the shot-delay difference between a bow and a rifle being insane.

Choice of weapon, either bring along a silent bow or a loud rifle. Might be for a few select missions you get to be La Longue Carabine as your choice of weapon. You know, because it'd look less suspicious to have them die with a bullet wound in a battlefield vs an arrow sticking out of their chest.
Maybe later in the war, they could get away with adding a prototype Windbüchse. That would solve the issue of reloading and lingering smoke and loundness.

Have they even explained that at some point? i couldn't find anything about it in Revelations.
though they never have really been historically accurate with the guns, hidden gun being a prime example
True, and its not really a long shot. War ends in 1783 and the carbine Windbüchse was developed 1778-1779 and produced starting in 1780.

"According to e-mails read by Desmond Miles in 2012, at least one Piece of Eden existed that granted the ability to manipulate time. Concerns over possible paradoxes, however, led to Abstergo Industries locking it away."

in the wiki it says [sp]AC3 will complete the story of Desmond Miles.[/sp] so AC4 would [sp]probably need a new character?[/sp]
Hope AC4 will happen

Yeah, I think they said that they are going on a creative hiatus after AC3, since they will need something fresh. Maybe a new conspiracy thing or something.
Also, did anyone get surprised by the time period? I think I've seen cannons and those uniforms/outfits a year or 2 ago when there was a photo of Ubisoft's workshop. I definitely remember cannon.

ACR's new DLC. You play as Subject 16 in his memory sequences (like Desmond's, the whole first person thing). Later in the DLC it [sp]explains that Lucy was born an assassin, obviously, but they wanted her to infiltrate Abstergo so they wiped her records of ever being with the assassins and she basically grew up and outcast but still received very slight orders from the assassins. Eventually she worked with Abstergo with the animus project. Sometime when Subject 16 got captured, Lucy herself explains that Abstergo is doing something that the assassins never could and that she couldn't let him live to tell about it and that she was "sorry". Warren Vidic gave Lucy orders to follow Desmond and the group (Shaun, Rebecca, etc.) and to report to them via phone or whatever to give them their whereabouts and current info. She was a triple agent unfortunately and it's hard to believe. I wonder if Desmond will find out in AC3 and basically be like "Fuck that bitch".[/sp]
If that's hard to read I apologize. When I try to explain stuff it's always disorganized.
[sp]A recording of Warren Vidic and Lucy Stillman begins to play.
Warren: Lucy, this is where your background comes into play. If our experiments with Desmond in the Animus aren't going well, you will remove him from Abstergo. Take him somewhere he will feel comfortable divulging his secrets. Your Assassins should do the trick. Since Desmond will be reading our emails, we will ensure that secret communications between you and the Assassins go through unimpeded. Once you are imbedded, I will come to pick up the Animus tapes. Make sure you look very upset. You need to be convincing. Desmond will lead you to the Apple and then you bring it right to us. We're counting on you, Lucy. You have served the Templar Order well, and we never forget loyalty. Oh, yes. Once inside their hideout, perhaps you might ask the Assassins why they left you alone for so many years.[/sp]

[sp]Clay,
I've seen the security records from last night. You must want an explanation. I had hoped to tell you about it little by little, to get you on my side, but it's too late now.
William is using us. In this war. In this war against the Templars, he doesn't think about the lives he's hurting. We aren't people to him. How can we trust someone like that? Clay, you of all people should understand.
Abstergo cares about helping people. They understand the realities of the world, its limitations.
But I know that nothing I can say now will really change your mind.
I've deleted the security records. Vidic will never discover the breach. I promised to protect you, but I can't let you leave. William and the others must never know.
I'm sorry.

you know what, somehow, i knew [sp]she had it coming[/sp]
Yeah but [sp]she can't leak the assassin coords anymore because she's dead and all.[/sp]
And J!NX, I take back my opinion on Connor's name. After hearing his last name it sounds much better to me. Connor Kenway.
That just screams America
