ui sucks, game ruined.
I didn't say game ruined. I said I don't like the UI. They should've left it as it was, now the map is fucking humongous and there's a fast walk and gentle push button above the weapon as if they're really that important.
Honestly my only gripe about the HUD is that they removed the diamond that showed the head, feet, left hand, and right hand controls. I really liked that idea. Having the 2 random buttons above your weapons just looks bad.
I agree, the hud was perfect in AC:B, then they started fucking it up in AC:R. Hopefully they will change it a bit, at least make it transparent, that would look more nifty.
This installment of the game features a new setting, taking place in the American Revolution. According to Tony Key, this setting is a perfect starting point for anyone who has never played the previous games in the series before
I'm sorry, what? Start on the fifth game after four games filled to the brim with story?
I'm sorry, what? Start on the fifth game after four games filled to the brim with story?
Remember that it'll probably have the wee recap bit at the start, so I'd assume they may flesh it out a bit more so it's more welcoming for new players.
I'm sorry, what? Start on the fifth game after four games filled to the brim with story?
Sounds a lot like the marketing for a certain game that came out a month ago.
AC was a great series, not sure how many fans are looking forward to yet another release so soon. [editline]9th April 2012[/editline]
"Whatcha doin' over there assassin?"
TOASTY!
The HUD in AC:B and AC:R are exactly the same except for the health bars.
Well you are right, I thought about the inventory menu which was all confusing and a bit weird, also some of the changes in the controls.
Well you are right, I thought about the inventory menu which was all confusing and a bit weird, also some of the changes in the controls.
Yeah those changes in the controls so suddenly were annoying. Was also annoying how in AC:B you could chain kills (you still could in AC:R) but in AC:B if I held down the attack button while chaining, he would do stuff like stab one person and shoot the person across from him. They completely removed that in AC:R.

The special edition for £35 on Amazon, almost tempting if you consider the PS3 one is listed at £57 and you get some neat stuff! One put off is when the game is coming out.. wish it was summer :(

You need to have pistol equipped with your medium weapon (sword/mace) or throwing knives with your dagger knives. Just hold the button then with 2+ enemies when chain killing and voila.

The snow doesn't look half bad, almost as nice as Metro: Last Light. Games rarely get snow right.
those pictures look fantastic
The snow looks strange in 2 and 4, but thats just nitpicking.
The snow looks strange in 2 and 4, but thats just nitpicking.
It's thick fresh snow Never seen that in a game before
Just finished Assassin's Creed 1 :o that was awesome, are the rest as good?
What the fuck happened in Reveleations' end.
Just finished Assassin's Creed 1 :o that was awesome, are the rest as good?
They only get better, although by Revelations the formula is a bit stale.
They only get better, although by Revelations the formula is a bit stale.
And the endings will make no sense.
What the fuck happened in Reveleations' end.
it was by far the most clear ending what are you talking about
Just finished Assassin's Creed 1 :o that was awesome, are the rest as good?
If you thought Assassin's Creed 1 was good, you're in for a huge treat. The rest are by far superior.
it was by far the most clear ending what are you talking about
Better then 2's atleast.
Oh that's awesome, not many games nowadays have sequels better if not as good as the first.
Oh that's awesome, not many games nowadays have sequels better if not as good as the first.
Ubisoft seems to have learned how fucking repetitive ACI was, and fixed it to a good degree in AC2. It bugs me how guards still go "HEY, YOU THERE >:O" and then go "That's better :D" once you walk behind a chimney, but it's still great.
Query, if I may; How the hell do you play The Lost Archives DLC missions? [editline]21st April 2012[/editline] Of course I realised it three minutes after making the post. . . . :suicide:
Well, sort of. Do you need more Animus Data Fragments for memory things that come with the DLC?
Wow, just 'beat' Lost Archives, fucking genius
Is any of the AC:R dlc worth it?
