Refer to post directly above your's.
Story wise, yes. Gameplay wise, no.
Story wise, yes. Gameplay wise, no.
Revelations is almost entirely storyline over gameplay.
Revelations is almost entirely storyline over gameplay.
were revelations in not such a boring city, it would by my favorite
Just bought Assassin's Creed 1, 2, Brotherhood and Revelations because the trailer looked so damn good. Assassin's Creed 1 is pretty repetitive. Is the 2nd one too?
Nope.
Except the first one had better story
Debatable. The villains were certainly better.
Debatable. The villains were certainly better.
The graphics made my dick hard back then though. It impressed me.
The villains in AC1 were better, they actually thought they were doing something for the greater good. In AC2 the ending made no sense.
Except the first one had better story
It seemed to have potential, but was executed poorly. It's just "go here, this guy does this, so we should kill him." And it's just that over and over. ACII seemed to add depth to each even that happens to Ezio. We literally live his life.

They wanted to see what they could do with it and what kind of feedback it got from the players. Not to mention how they could develop the story from beyond there. ACII was the outcome of it IMO. I say they executed the storyline quite well.
asscreed 1 felt much like a skeleton of a game. a beautifully formed skeleton but a skeleton none the less. the sequels added the rest of the foundation. except revelations. it and brotherhood should have been DLC or the same game. the raw potential i felt and the utter beauty of the first game, not only in gracefully majestic gameplay and graphics but what could become of it. ultimately i feel let down until now, this game makes up for it
Also, why is Altair's English accent so good? I mean, I would've thought it was because of Desmond if not Ezio talked the way he does.
Also, why is Altair's English accent so good? I mean, I would've thought it was because of Desmond if not Ezio talked the way he does.
I think they explained that it was due to it being older version of the Animus.
I think they explained that it was due to it being older version of the Animus.
I think Altair and everyone in every game talked in their native languages, but the Animus translated it in realtime so that Desmond (and ourselves) would understand it. I have no theory on Revelations though, where Ezio went to Masyaf.
The Animus is programmed with a multitude of languages, some phrases though it can't translate so you hear it in the native language.
Also, why is Altair's English accent so good? I think we can all agree that Animus 1.28 sucks balls.
AC1 plays from Desmond's perspective, so it takes his voice/face/whateverthefuck and applies it to Altair.
One thing I've always wondered was, does the animus actually let you interact with your surroundings, or does Desmond just experience this as memories on a path? Because if so, he is going to see a lot of doing stupid things :v:
Nah, it's like a video game, why else would he get that HUD and stuff?
Nah, it's like a video game, why else would he get that HUD and stuff?
So does he see himself from a third person persepctive, or do you think it's first person for him. But then what would be the point of the hud, can he see the hud? He must right? Since the hud is supposed to be part of the Animus. ughhh
If you guys want to look into it so much, then read up what the guys who already did typed up. Bam.

They will probably release it in a few weeks when they realize they've made a mistake.
That fucking hidden blade emerging into a combat dagger.
