So we'll see Assassin's Creed games all the way up to modern times?
this is confirmed to be the end of the desmond story-arc, as the devs said clearly that the desmond story arc will fucking end in 2012, even if they have to get everyone in ubisoft into the prduction
So we'll see Assassin's Creed games all the way up to modern times?
Seeing as Assassin's Creed has always been planned as a trilogy - nah.
and ubisoft has not yet dissapointed- to me, the assassin's creed games are to video games is what lord of the rings was to books, or what tarantino is to movies. anything with the name is golden
Monday is going to be amazing. ACIII info, B&W3 or The Movies 2 info, and GDC.
what is this wizardry you speak of Tell me more. TELL ME MORE OF THIS LIONHEAD GAME THAT ISN'T FABLE.
I'm really hoping they use multiple cities, important ones at the time like Boston, New York, Philadelphia, DC, and Baltimore.
Dc did not exist during the revolution. Anyway this should be very interesting with how much more gun focused this will be.
I do like ubisofts concept artists ability to make the newer Assassin's outfits even more badass then the last.
Dc did not exist during the revolution. Anyway this should be very interesting with how much more gun focused this will be.
I am guessing that there will be still no aiming other than selecting an enemy. They probably want to keep to the entire puppeteering-movement idea, so I suppose lock-ons will still be the same. They might toy with eagle vision, make it stop time or something so you can select 2 targets to shoot with the double pistols, or something incredibly cool, like they always do.

Story, design, visuals, mechanics, etc. Very few games/developers do I trust explicitly like I do Ubisoft Montreal(?) and Assassin's Creed.
Weren't the leaders of the American Revolution backed by Templars in the AC canon? Should be interesting.
Weren't the leaders of the American Revolution backed by Templars in the AC canon? Should be interesting.
they were, washington was a templar too [editline]1st March 2012[/editline] among a lot of the presidents
Every ancestor of Desmond is a Grand Master? Hmm
Weren't the leaders of the American Revolution backed by Templars in the AC canon? holy fuck
Every ancestor of Desmond is a Grand Master? Hmm
Yer 'n assassin, Desmond. [editline]1st March 2012[/editline] (Hagrid from Harry Potter)
people complaining about the game "pandering to americans" are idiots anyway, were AC1 and AC2 pandering to europeans or middle-eastern folk
Yer 'n assassin, Desmond. [editline]1st March 2012[/editline] (Hagrid from Harry Potter)
yer gonna go to the animus and kill people and shit
yer gonna go to the animus and kill people and shit
'n then find out yer part arab, italian and now native american. But oh shit! Hordes of Templars wanna kill ya IRL! Use your magically obtained assassins skillz~
We should compile a list of things we think we know about the story -Native protagonist -Revolutionary War -Bow -Tomahawk anyone got otherthings
I do, Protogonist looks white on the cover.
We should compile a list of things we think we know about the story -Native protagonist -Revolutionary War -Bow -Tomahawk anyone got otherthings
the isolated farm desmond grew up on is in america, possibly going to visit it real time and indian assassin time, like we did rome and such

Mountains Horses Hoods All of these are brand new innovations in the Assassins Creed games, how have you guys not noticed this?

Look at the outfits and face shape.
it's more than likely this will take place everywhere over the northern parts of america
Yeah, you're probably right actually. They actually get snow up there.
every assassins creed render is official, the cover art and that rendition of the concept art is what the main character will look like
I hope that they actually put some more effort in the cutscences and dialogues unlike Revelations. Besides I hope that the story won't be dragged on just to release some more sequels. Also why do you guys think that Desmond has to relive the memories of his ancestor in the Independence War? Desmond said that he knew now what to do, they also arrived at that cave at the very end. Hopefully we can play as Desmond some more. I also fear that they will reuse that overused "Free the city from the bad guys by destroying towers and sent Assassins to other cities!" considering that it takes place in the Indepence War where cities where under control of the British. Those mechanics are getting really fucking old or need some major improvements.
