You got a source on that information that they worked on this title since AC2. Sounds a bit weird to me. I just hope that this will be a good game, Revelations was bad.
remember how different ezio looked in the multiple covers of ac2 cover art and concept art?

Assassin's Creed III Countdown Clock: http://assassinscreed.ubi.com/ac/en-US/index.aspx Hope this countdown is for the first trailer.
Am I the only one looking forward to forests Possible ambushes on templar convoys
Mel Gibson style :v: I hope that there will be some cool bayonet moves with muskets and brutal finishing moves.
So will the PC version actually be released with the others this time?
A very good analysis of AC3's boxart by IGN.
What if guys, just an idea. What if you play assassins on both sides? I don't know which side the Templars are "sponsoring", but I know that most assassins don't know about the Templars. The Templars could be playing both sides, hiring assassins to kill opposing key figures, bring the two sides to the brink, nobody would suspect any Templar involvement, if they even knew of them.

And by both sides I mean the sides both backed by Templars. I haven't played Revelations yet, but [SP]Could it be possible that the war is a struggle between two different factions of the Templars? Wasn't the vault located in the colonies? I mean it wouldn't be the first time that the Templars have set up wars and neither would it be the last [/SP]

I could have sworn around the time when they released AC2 they said that in 3 you would play a female assassin in St.Petersburg during the Bolshevik Revolution. I kinda had always looked forward to that, but this seems pretty intriguing as well.

And it wasn't a female. http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Nikolai_Orelov

They should have had it slightly more forward in time. Then you can play as John Wilkes Booth. Jumping onto that stage was clearly an assassin tenacity.

Well maybe he can be a villain then. Who knows.

It's just, you tend to point out the fairly obvious things. It's kind of hard to miss the big flag waving behind him. Edit: Not that I'm complaining, I hadn't heard anything of AC3 until you posted this. Edit: I'm not sure where this train of thought was going.

He's not exactly inconspicuous. I kind of wish they'd kept the overall costume aesthetics and silhouette but dropped the hood, it just seems like it'd be really out of place in colonial America. It'd be pretty simple to have a Tricorn with a hooked front point that still casts his face in shadow.
