So... Would you guys say this is worth the money? I'll probably pick it up on PC.
Yes, I think it's worth the money. It's an all around improvement from the other games in my opinion.
I say its well worth the money. AC2 is still the best. Connor's story is a lot more thought out than Desmond's sadly. I like Desmond's segments but they copped out and gave some bullshit explanations to the story.
Just watched Assassin's Creed Embers and by the looks of this if they make a next game it might be in China. [sp]RIP Ezio[/sp]
guy really reall dumb question, I can't find the shops anywhere, it says that a new weapon is available etc, but can't find the shops, where are they, what does there icon look like [editline]5th November 2012[/editline] wait it doesn't matter
Just watched Assassin's Creed Embers and by the looks of this if they make a next game it might be in China. [sp]RIP Ezio[/sp]
I don't think so. Maybe not the next game, but perhaps a spinoff, like Liberation. I think the next game will be a definite sequal with Connor. [sp] At the end of the game the hunter tells him his tribe moved west.[/sp] I think the game might carry on towards there or perhaps the Texas/Louisana area. Then it will be about the war of 1812 and whatnot. Of course Connor would be sorta old, but Ezio was pretty old too in Revelations. I guess they could also do a Civil war era game as well, that might be cool.
I wonder if a modern time or future Assassins creed would work?
I wonder if a modern time or future Assassins creed would work?
I think that is less likely to happen, I mean we have Hitman for that.
I don't understand how some people aren't experiencing low frame rates and others are, could it be their eyes don't pick it up as easy? Like whilst I'm free running in boston I get a constant low frame rate, the entire game is choppy, I get jealous when others claim they don't have this problem! [editline]5th November 2012[/editline] Honestly, I've played many games and experienced many glitches and technical problems but I've never felt this bad about a game, the constant low frame rate has really ruined the game for me, I've played games where at points where a lot of stuff is happening, the frame rate drops. But this game is constantly choppy, takes away the feeling of Connor's fluid movement. I'm shocked that they would release the game in this condition and ask for £40 for it, if the consoles can't handle a game you're making then don't make it for that fucking console it's simple. Played through all of the AC games and enjoyed them until now.
I keep losing my second firearm after loading, fast travel etc
So ACIII came out on my birthday, and I didn't get it for my birthday. Even if I hadn't expressed my interest in it (a lot), it kind of makes sense. Still kind of "wut" over the whole thing. How is it though? Is it as awesome as (I'm sure all of us) hoped it would be?
How many sequences are there in the game? Still waiting for PC version, so far I've read somewhere here that up till sequence 3 takes around 4 hours.
How many sequences are there in the game? Which I felt kinda dragged on more than it needed to.
12 sequences, but less than half of them you don't actually play as connor. Which I felt kinda dragged on more than it needed to.
I agree, I like how they tried to create a twist and introduce a compelling story about Connor. But it took to long, even when you want to replay the game. It just takes such a long time to get to Connor.

couple of questions and i promise i won't ask about the retarded ending (edit: or Desmond because who gives a shit) 1) is it as good as Brotherhood (best creed game imo) 2) did they do Franklin justice 3) is Connor bearable to play as

In my opinion, it is better than Brotherhood. 2. Yes 3. He isn't as charismatic as Ezio but he is far more human than Altair. He has a lot more internal conflict to deal with than the other protagonists.
I think that is less likely to happen, I mean we have Hitman for that.
Cue Agent 47 having a Assassin's symbol in place of the barcode.
I miss the shop buying and tower missions. if there were more forts it would be awesome. And customizing outfits for assassins too. dislike being able to summon 6 people in random clothing. And homestead, frontier. boston and newyork. too many zones, too many load sceens going between them. Still it is really fun overall but they removed some of my favourite things
I'm missing one chest in Boston that seems to have not counted because it's not showing up on my map. (I have every single map from the shops too) [editline]4th November 2012[/editline] Go to an accounting book by a harbormaster.
I thought I missed a chest, but there was still a chest inside the Green Dragon Tavern, They dont show up on the map.
It's a bit of a strange request but can anyone type out all the weapons/gadgets you can carry at once? In Revelations you had: Sword/heavy weapon Dagger Hidden blades/Hookblade Hands 3 types of bombs Poison darts Poison needle Crossbow Hidden gun Coins Medicine Throwing knives

Am I the only one who wants an Assassin's Creed set in the Japanese Boshin War in the 1860s?
Just watched Assassin's Creed Embers and by the looks of this if they make a next game it might be in China. [sp]RIP Ezio[/sp]
Hmm spin off maybe. They explain the Chinese Assassin from Embers very very briefly in 3 and explain the weapon she used/made (rope darts).
The Tyranny of King Washington On October 3, 2012 Ubisoft revealed the first portion of DLC for the game. Entitled "The Tyranny of King Washington", the story revolves around an alternate history where George Washington seizes power and becomes 'King of America' following the events of the American Revolution. The player will be tasked with overthrowing the dictator. The single-player campaign will be separated into 3 episodic installments which will be available post-launch.
Badass.
Badass.
Revealed October 3rd :v: Most of us already knew and it says it a million times when looking at the season pass.
only 12 sequences. and like half of them are shit. this game is really good. it's just the reviewers are all looking past the bugs and proceed to suck on the game's balls. probably the best out of all of the games but at the same time kinda one of the most disappointing. there were to many long sections of the game that had nothing to do with connor. and as said above. replay value is completely killed because of the first 3 fucking sequences not being about connor, then the next 1-2 sequences being the ones you play as connor, but it takes till the end of those to actually start playing the fuckin game and it be done with exposition. so in essence, almost half of the sequences are exposition...

I was waiting for it for a long time...too long...I'm not gonna replay this game, sadly. I haven't played other Assassin's Creeds, but I fucking love this one. Think of playing ACII and other following Creeds, but kinda worried about combat. I'm not a stealthy person, I like to go in an open combat that hide in the bushes.
some glitches are pretty good , but i hate when something like this happens during mission sorry about quality
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/NGyRS.jpg[/thumb] my god
You might hate me for this, but I'm actually interested in this. Did anyone try it out? Believe it or not but I always hated the grinding to get the best stuff, only to learn you don't really need it when you have good reflexes. Still you look more badass with the best items and that's what I want.

But there are to many cutscences and storytelling that the actual gameplay falls short.
