it's almost as though they hired on hideo kojima... at like the last second of course, otherwise there would have been one fully playable level with no bullshit. and all the cool action would be reserved for cutscenes and quick time events.
if anyone ever played it was liberation's ending not retarded
I wonder if a modern time or future Assassins creed would work?
Please no, I hate the magic spesh future story line, it's so fucking stupid and terrible. If we move forward at all, WWII or WWI is as far as I'd like it to go, at maximum. Also how the fuck would China work, his ancestors are European and Middle Eastern, there is no Asian in there at all. Learn your history bro. There wasn't even trading with much of Asia until around the time that the Kyber pass was used to Invade the Dravidians (early India) by the Aryans (Middle Easternish).
theres more than one assassin/ person with ancestors bro.
True but Asian would make little sense really I think because the main bit is the bloodline of Desmond. While it's a possibility that it could be Asian as the events I described happened many years BCE it wouldn't really make too much sense because they don't look Asian at all and you'd think that there'd be some sort of features that are alike while they appear to be 100% European/Middle Eastern. Also I tried converting the Pivot numbers into Binary and then into ASCII, no arg, also no hex to ASCII arg. So there's nothing special about that that I can think of.
hey, who said anything about his ancestor's having to have been born there to visit? if anything i'd like to see another altair game. maybe it's just nostalgia but out of all the assassins he is my favorite.
I like Altair simply because his skeleton structure when we had to use it for Desmond didn't make Desmond look fucking retarded. Also because he was a pretty cool character. I really just don't like Connor I guess, he's too much of a whiny bitch child who hardly matures with age at all.
if i were a native american during that time i'd be a whiny bitch. shit, you could take brick top from snatch, turn him into a native american and send him back in time. he'd be a whiny bitch. and that geezers so fucking hard even his nightmares were scared of him. [editline]5th November 2012[/editline] it's just that so much is implied to have happened after AC1, altair pretty much made the assassins what they are today.
I only really liked him when he spoke about how Sam Adams owned a slave and was being an asshole to point out the ironies of the founding fathers because I was really hoping that this game wasn't just all 100% American Propaganda but it really did a good job of proving impartial to either side in most aspects. But if you look at it, he started out like Ezio and Altair, arrogant and assholes but the other two aged and gained knowledge and wisdom which made their characters better to relate to as they actually developed the character through the years while Connor was the same Whiny loud entitled bitch from childhood to adulthood. And yeah, I would like to know what Altair did after AC1. But WWII would be kinda cool if we followed the French Revolution in Paris. But I fear that it would be much too close to modern times and automatic firearms present a problem from the gameplay style perspective. So maybe not. Also because we already have The Saboteur for that.
Sequence 7 [sp]How do you get across the fucking battlefield when cannons attack you at random intervals? There is no discernible path though this piece of shit mission.[/sp]
Cannons? You mean the rifle fire from the lines of regulars? You just have to run between their shots to cover. It's weird because he takes cover like the other troops but only in this mission. The amount of one mission only features bugs the crap out of me honestly. OH that's the one where you have to stop the ships from shelling the hill. Fuck, well that's easy, you just have to watch for patterns and also use roofs. I can't remember how I did it but it only took me two tries.

actually being apart of the french resistance wouldn't be so bad. especially if you're an american OSS operative dropped into france. basically they were special forces who dressed and acted french and blended in with them and sought out resistance parties and helped them out by hooking them up.
There are no roofs, it's just a random battlefield.
Then what mission are you talking about? Because I don't recall this part at all. The only mission I remember dodging cannon fire was the one with the ships in the harbour that you run through the town to get to. I also only remember dodging any sort of projectile other than the ship one in the one where it's just a bunch of regulars that fire and you just go cover to cover. I mean the modern sequence with guns was really shit enough as is (though that was mostly because they still fired their pistols like flintlocks.) and I don't really know how they'd fix that.
I just replayed brotherhood, to get back into the games style, now should I play revelations first to keep up with the story, or skip to 3?
But it's completely random, the shooting and cannon fire animations are constant, and there is no pattern, it;s just fucking annoying.
Look at the rock you're taking cover behind. There'll be smoke when the shots hit your cover. A split second after you sprint to your next piece of cover. Revelations sucked so much ass though, be warned. Then again if the Germans fire as well as the Redcoats in AC3 do (About storm trooper skill level here) we'll be ok.

Just makes it seem like they only prosper when you're playing, and everything goes to shit when you turn off your game.
Revelations was pretty good. Also, I like the idea of a gameplay pack needed for instant unlock of streaks. It felt dumb being able to just slash through hordes of guys using combo kills with no effort. Having to unlock them makes things a little more challenging.

Revelations was the worst game of the series and really just a crappy game over all. The hook blade was fucking retarded enough to warrant saying it was a bad game in the series, the rest of the game speaks for why it was a bad game in its own right.

I liked it. Also, to those saying the Assassins' legitimacy hasn't been questioned, Ubisoft has said there are many more twists in the plot, where the Templars actually seem to be not all that bad. Your allies don't even stay your allies forever: late-game, you fight Continentals alongside the British, and then the Washington DLC is also neat.

Not really I found it even easier than the other games simply because the hook blade make it stupidly easy. Honestly I breeze through Revelations. ACIII is even easier because of the health regen system though, which is the worst part about the game really.

That doesn't make the game stupidly easy. AC3 hp regen is after you finish a fight or very VERY slowly in a fight (which the parry system is so simple it's stupid) (tap the parry button years before the enemy hits you and you still parry)
I really despise how Connor has a mohawk and his hood down after the game is completed. Personally, I do not like his looks at all. What kind of decision was that? The hood is one of the most iconic features of the Assassin robe. It really looks bad in my opinion. So I wanted to replay this game from the beginning, but it takes so damn long to actually be in the time where you play as adult Connor.

But the fact that he used the hook in CUTSCENES to kill people bugged the fuck out of me. Also it made climbing 300x easier. I don't care of the blade is supposed to have came out of the hook, he was fucking stabbing people with the hook, I saw the cutscenes. the hook was more of a barb wasn't it? god damn that's a nasty little wrist trinket right there. i mean you double killed people with the hook blade, there was no second actual blade was there? think about it, the normal wrist blade is a simple spike, the hook blade mashes into a person's insides and hooks onto some intestines or something on the way out.
Yeah but imagine the strength it takes to thrust a blunt hook end into someone. It's bloody stupid to assume he can do that in the assassination cutscenes like he does.
