the hook was more of a barb wasn't it? god damn that's a nasty little wrist trinket right there. i mean you double killed people with the hook blade, there was no second actual blade was there? think about it, the normal wrist blade is a simple spike, the hook blade mashes into a person's insides and hooks onto some intestines or something on the way out.
It had a blade. The tip was sharp but the hook part was slightly under the tip of the blade.
It had a blade. The tip was sharp but the hook part was slightly under the tip of the blade.
Still not convinced that it's at all a practical design, assuming that a hidden blade was at all a practical or even feasible design.
I have to admit that they nailed the templars really well, I even hoped that Connor would turn to the Templar side. Their plans are not that evil, well after they explain them. They strife for control, whereas the assassins are strifing for freedom and liberty. Both have valid points and I think that they showed it really well how Connor was beside those two. There is no discernible path though this piece of shit mission.[/sp]
Well, I usually waited until the redcoats fired their volleys, there is always one moment where they all fire together. After that, just run to some cover and wait.
People have made working hidden blade replicas though its a pretty simple mechanism
To be honest, I despise the hidden blade. It has become a boring weapon, I do not like to fight with nor to assassinate with it. It may be nifty but I always prefer a weapon to kill someone. It was fine to introduce it in the first game, but I never bothered much with it. The only thing that I like about it is that it is a characteristic of a Assassin and iconic.
it's not something assassin's creed came up with, it's been around FOREVER [editline]6th November 2012[/editline]
To be honest, I despise the hidden blade. That doesn't stop Ezio jamming the whole hook into people.
-what the fuck?
so it's basically a barb.
But it's completely random, the shooting and cannon fire animations are constant, and there is no pattern, it;s just fucking annoying.
Probably solved it by now, but the friendly soldiers will shout about incoming volleys in some form. Also you can see smoke from the million muskets. bullets land a second later so its easy to know when to run
Playing through asscreed brohood WHO THE FUCK DESIGNED THE BOMBER FLYING MACHINE PARTS? It starts off controlling well, then suddenly the fucking thing just hangs in the air and refuses to move, usually ending up in me flying out of bounds.
The hookblade does have an extended blade above the hook. That doesn't stop Ezio jamming the whole hook into people.
The hook can move up and down the blade as it sees fit, so he can jam the whole thing down.
To those who have finished the game; is there some sort of super armour like in previous games? Like how you could get Altair's armour, etc. in AC2?
Playing through asscreed brohood
You must mean assbro.
I want this game so much, it sucks that PC always is a month later. Shit, we get it later than WiiU.
What are all the possible outfits you can get? I know of [sp]Prison, Achilles, Captain Kidd, Ezio and Default[/sp]
What are all the possible outfits you can get? I know of [sp]Prison, Achilles, Captain Kidd, Ezio and Default[/sp]
I know of one more, the tribe costume he wears when he's young. Before he gets the assassin's clothing. To get it you need to collect all the feathers.
What are all the possible outfits you can get? I know of [sp]Prison, Achilles, Captain Kidd, Ezio and Default[/sp]
IIRC You can get Altairs outfit if you get 100% on all of the missions.
Does this game still have that Uplay stuff you can get points and unlock certain things for?
Does this game still have that Uplay stuff you can get points and unlock certain things for?
Yes.
To those who have finished the game; is there some sort of super armour like in previous games?
Wtf ending. [sp]Desmond dun touch it, I dun wanna, no please controls start working, nuuuuu[/sp]
[sp]Desmond simply dies, after all these games it comes to the point where he dies. Besides his team and even his dad does not give a shit about it, there is not even a proper discussion. The other alternative looked better than freeing Juno. What the fuck Desmond?[/sp]
[sp]The other alternative was that Billions of people die. That's not better at all[/sp]
Our world is fucked anyway :v:
[sp]The other alternative was that Billions of people die. That's not better at all[/sp]
[sp]Come on, Desmond would become the god of some sort of cult in the new world[/sp]
i can't resist clicking on spoilers, not like they ruin anything for me for some reason anyways. [sp]so we've been playing as this prick essentially for the past 5 or so games, more if you count all the other games... and they just decide to let him die? i mean i haven't beaten the game yet, and considering how disappointing the game was i probably won't. but how the fuck can the game continue on? he was essentially the main character...[/sp]
I just did the ship navigation tutorial. Do you seriously [sp]not get assassin's robes until you're halfway through the game? Or are the later sequences longer than the first half?[/sp]
