how do i get more liberation missions?
Wait for a patch.
how do i get more liberation missions?
Eventually the missions won't show up on the map. In the map screen scroll down and find the Liberation Missions panel (Somthing like that) There should be a checklist of stuff to do. You gotta walk/ride around the farms or burned down houses or wherever you are in the Liberation Zone and eventually something should pop up around you.
Yep. Also, if you use guns, you don't get their meat and other products. So...kind confused about the ending. [sp] So, basically. Desmond chose temporary damage, and possible subjugation, versus permanent damage and a return to the stone age? [/sp]
Are there plenty more "sidequests" than in Revelations?
More than Revelations yes, but nowhere near as much as Brotherhood or Assassins Creed II. Assassins Creed III barely scrapes the surface compared to those two.

Liberation missions disappeared on my map after i failed them, then i fast traveled to like 5 different places and they still are not there. oh well, but i've been flowing in cash, I'm just trying to make my assassin's a super high level. Do you pick their stats after they level? or what else can you do. I don't like how you have to hold a button, than hit another button to get to missions. And I cant seem to find information on whos gone, on what mission, and for how much longer.

Honestly I don't even bother calling them out for direct combat because they get injured in 5 seconds and are unable to be called for like 20 minutes.
They make the game even easier, I like how Assassins Creed gives me all these nifty tools. But ultimatively, they are to expensive and a simply tomahawk does the same job.
You can really make bank in this game. I was on sequence 6 with 55k cash (thats after purchasing a ton of upgrades for my boat[60k+] and all the maps [20k+] and the assassin's creed games are the only games I try to 100% idk why, its just been that way.
Trying to find fast travel locations in the underground gets really tedious. Also what the hell was up with "Head In the Clouds" for those that finished it?
Is the game worth getting? I've only played the first Assassins Creed.
Yes but get the second one first. It's much cheaper and honestly it's my favorite. The third one is good but the only reason I got it for $60 is because my brother got Halo 4 and we're going to switch when we beat our current game. Just play the 2nd one, and even Brotherhood and Revelations if you want (they're both good) and get this when it's cheaper.
I feel like Revelations is the weakest installement of the series. There has been to much promises but the changes were superficial and actually boring. Istanbul was generic and all the characters bland.
Am I glitched or something? My mini-map says that there is a treasure where I am standing, but I don't see and chests. And it's not a level above or below me because its the open air.
After playing quite a lot in multiplayer and getting some file hacks. I just noticed that some of the multiplayer characters are assassins or work with the assassins. In Brotherhood and Revelations all of the characters were Templars. The characters in AC3 multiplayer that are assassins are: [sp]The Silent Shadow, The Sharpshooter, The Robber (worked with assassins), and The Huntsman[/sp] Those are the ones I got "file hacks" on so far.
Actually, if I remember correctly,[sp]the Templars were collecting the memories of assassins taken from their test subjects for training purposes. Basically, they were pitting Templar Agents against eachother in a virtual training environment using the memories of those assassins, meaning in multiplayer the avatars most of the time aren't Templars, but actual assassins.[/sp]
Money is pretty useless in this game and can only be used to upgrade your ship and buy crafting materials.
this game is insanely glitchy. i just interrogated someone after beating them up for a liberation mission, and during the dialogue connor was stuck repeating the same 5 frames of the sheathing animation, so basically with most of connor's body blocked by the redcoat except his shoulder and head, it looked like he was beating off really fast. also i'm having a really big problem here. there are no more liberation missions in new york for me. i've done every synchronization possible, i've even googled the problem, but there aren't any solutions i can see.
The top part of new york (farms and shit) has no sync points, and thus the mission icons don't show up on your map unless you're close to them. You have to run around the farm bit for a while to get all the missions.

Some of the characters in Revelations had obvious templar outfits (usually the cross) and again you even kill some of them in the singleplayer. AC3 With its file hacks after completing x challenges gives you more insight into the characters.[/sp]
In relevations, when you find out it's [sp] the uncle who's behind it all[/sp], I was mainly surprised by the fact that I was not expected to have already assumed this. I mean, of course it's him! I dunno why, but it's painfully obvious.

[editline]11th November 2012[/editline] oh yeah and more bugs than a dilapidated termite infested house. most of them superficial, but some of them are game breaking. it's starting to piss me off.

You can ALWAYS finish every mission, even when you've completed the main story line completely.
oh so after i beat the game i can run around as connor and do the rest of the shit with no limitation? okay okay i'm def buying this rental now.
Assassin's Creed III looks totally beast.Could anybody here give me a summary of the game?
oh so after i beat the game i can run around as connor and do the rest of the shit with no limitation? okay okay i'm def buying this rental now.
Yes.
that takes an insane weight off my mind
Assassin's Creed III looks totally beast.Could anybody here give me a summary of the game?
Really a cinematic experience and loads of cutscences, story is mostly the important factor. There are tons of sidemissions to do. Although some of them are boring or annoying to do. It is a good game, but there are a lot of issues in my opinions that need to be addressed. It is a great game but it suffers from somewhat reptitive gameplay. It feels to much like a movie to me. The freeroaming is great fun though. I liked the story a lot but there are many things that still miss and it has no replay value at all.
even after you've done everything i think that this game out of all of them has the most sandbox combat potential out of all the assassin's creed games. for starters and probably the best part about the new additions are the new assassin abilities. most if not all of them are pretty useful in one way or another even if it is a niche role. but the best part about all of this is how plentiful enemies are in the world, so pretty much every niche can be fufilled just by looking for the right configuration of guards. not to mention this game by far has the most interesting selection of weapons out of any of the games and also the best combat. it rivals even surpasses GTA4 imo just for the potential for rampage runs. there are so many different things you can do in so many different ways you can create elaborate situations given the right variables are there. [editline]11th November 2012[/editline] the lure and ambush abilities are really awesome. with lure you can manipulate guard's positions and with ambush you can set a trap so 6 assassins come down on some regiment marching down the street. best part is if you keep your distance, noone attributes it to you.
The game as a whole was way too easy. The only thing that atleast a bit challangeing were the ship missions.
I felt kinda like an alien when I was in the cities. While I like that, they weren't really as well done as the ones in AC2 and Brotherhood. I get that they're not supposed to, but they feel more like a simple hub, than anything else.
