Sequence ~ 10 spoiler: [sp]wow, Washington is a pussy and Connor isn't working with Haytham anymore. I don't know what side Connor is on now..[/sp]
[sp] The Anti Lee side. Like, the whole game is set during the Revolution, but it's really just about killing Lee. That's the entire game.[/sp]
where the christ do you get sewing threads and flints from
where the christ do you get sewing threads and flints from
Craft them.
Should go further out to the map with the city's, move over to a different city and zoom in again.
well it doesn't... ugh i guess i have a really super bugged copy then.
Was I the only person that found it kind of creepy how Ezio collected portraits of all the people he assassinated or fought against?
No, I thought it was kinda cool and honourable. Like, even though you no longer exist in this world, let this picture serve as a reminder and lesson of your actions.
it kinda reminds me of that guy in Death Proof except i think he would get rid of the pictures after running over teenage women with his car
I mean. It's just kinda creepy. I get momentos, but i mean, he had to get those from somewhere.
mementos are even creepier because that's taking something from the victim and hoarding it. with this he got someone to make a portrait of someone he assassinated. i think it's much more classy.
The portrait would be impossible to make. I'm saying it's creepy since after he kills them, he sneaks into their fucking house and steals their ten foot tall portrait.
In AC2 the portraits were quite small. But in Brotherhood they sure were large. I'm in Sequence 6 of AC:Brotherhood and AC3 comes in 10 days :pwn: and I had in mind completing AssBro and AssRev before I get my hands on AC3.
Brotherhood should only take like a weekend to complete. I don't know about Rev, I only played about half of it. What I found kind of annoying about AC3 was the huge amount of water space, but the lack of canoe. In AC2 and the sequels, there were the rafts for ten feet of water, yet when there's a manageable space, they don't use it. I mean, fuck, they could recycle the script, all they'd need to do is make a new model and a couple of seconds of animations.
Sequence 11 spoilers: [sp]Yay, finally killed Haytham. That screen blur is kidding kind of annoying, because I still have it while trying to sneak in the ship Charles Lee is on. I feel that the ending is close...[/sp]

Can you get the [sp]Achilles original[/sp] outfit before the game ends?
Hey guys! AC3: Deluxe for PC (which includes the season pass, the two multiplayer characters, the four singleplayer bonus missions, the soundtrack AND the notebook whatchacallit) is -25% off at GMG. I just snatched it, went down to 48€ (approx. the price of the normal retail version) so it's a bargain and you get all the DLC as a bonus, for the price of the base game. You'll need this code: GMG25-UAAHK-6AI9S Aaaand here's the store page: http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/fi/en/pc/games/adventure/assassins-creed-iii-deluxe-edition/ It activates on Uplay, but uses their Capsule client to download the files. Just a heads up since the code expires on the 16th.
Can you get the [sp]Achilles original[/sp] outfit before the game ends?
Yes. I did it on my first playthrough. One of the cutscenes ended up making no sense because the costume interfered.
When you guys were[sp]fighting Haytham at the end, did he go to the gate for you and try to fight the redcoats trying to go through it? Their muskets were clipping through the door and Haytham just kept swinging at them. Was annoying as fuck because he did that almost every time after I threw him into an object, and I had to smack him just to lure him back.[/sp]
so because homested missions and shit aren't showing up (i actually know the exact point when this bug happened in game, something happened in the frontier and then the marker for boston was gone) so i decided to start a new game. just got to sequence 3 blazing through the game and skipping all cutscenes in an hour. considering how long sequence 3 is this is fucking ridiculous. even if you have sharply honed skills at the game it probably takes 2 hours to get to where you get the rope dart (when you're basically "free" as connor)
Got a multiplayer glitch where my disguise never deactivated. Didn't die once for the rest of that match.
[sp]Did anyone else find the chase with Lee the worst part of the game? Like it was so fucking bad I had to redo it over 10 times.[/sp]
[sp]Did anyone else find the chase with Lee the worst part of the game? Like it was so fucking bad I had to redo it over 10 times.[/sp]
Dude, it took me FOUR FUCKING HOURS to 100% it..
My Desmond hoodie came from Ubiworkshop today. Broken zippers, it won't zip. They don't have any Desmond hoodies in stock left. GODDAMNIT
Dude, it took me FOUR FUCKING HOURS to 100% it..
Yeah it was really bad. Mostly because it was inconsistent. When you first start it those explosive barrels activate REALLY FUCKING EARLY. If you click the restart from checkpoint button, the barrels practically explode when you're right next to them completely blocking you from getting 1 of the optional objectives.

Then aim for the guard on the right, not the left or in the middle, and hope you take both of them down each time. After the second to last row of guards, the first with more than two, I cut off part of the route by jumping off the walk thingy to the left. (all the while hoping you haven't run over anyone in the process)
i'm so glad i rented this game. i would go into a fit of psychotic rage if i paid 60 dollars for something that made me have to throw 30 hours of gametime down the toilet and have to go through this 5 hour long intro sequence. again. if it happens again i will at the very least destroy the game disk. preferably with fire.
