[sp]To be honest I was expecting Haytham to turn good at the end and get killed by Charles Lee, it seems really cliche but I really liked Haytham and I didn't want to kill him[/sp]

The story wasn't the perfect story we, or I, was expecting.
I'd say your expectations were stupidly high.
No they weren't "stupidly high" as you assume, but I didn't expect it to be the way it is. smh.
Brotherhood should only take like a weekend to complete. I don't know about Rev, I only played about half of it.
What I found kind of annoying about AC3 was the huge amount of water space, but the lack of canoe.
In AC2 and the sequels, there were the rafts for ten feet of water, yet when there's a manageable space, they don't use it. I mean, fuck, they could recycle the script, all they'd need to do is make a new model and a couple of seconds of animations.
What are you talking about? I have a canoe. It's big and has cannons.
I love the names AssBro and AssRev.
AssToo
AssBro
AssRev
or as I have them named in Steam:
Spaghetti Avenger
Spaghetti Mafia
and
Spaghetti Kebab Special
Really by saying if its worth buying is that I've never owed any assassins creed game and I'm afraid I'll get bored easily, however I'm an achievement whore so maybe that's not the case but I like the free running and roaming around thing but so far it has looked like open land with snow. Boring?

I've never played any AC before III. I just fucking love III. I'm not a stealthy person, but I just love this game. It IS worth(for me).
it happened again, my game got glitched on a second playthrough i invested 3 hours in.
i know exactly what caused it too. some messenger approached me WHILE I WAS IN COMBAT telling me sam adams or someone wanted to meet me. i was trying to stay within range and survive and eventually died. respawned and boston no longer shows up on the map and homestead missions will most likely not show up either.
[editline]15th November 2012[/editline]
fuck you ubisoft...
I never got thos glitches. Only thing I have is I don't have any homestead missions appearing for at end-game, but that's because I didn't do them 6 sequences earlier(I guess).
I'm glad to hear its somewhat worth it, you know what? Fuck it I will get it!<3

Expand your "brotherhood", play thrugh naval missions, upgrade your ship, expnd your homestead to craft some neat things...and plot is good. I love that it is in XVIII-th century and everyone has guns and horses, but Connor also has a bow.
Are you talking about the liberation missions that don't show up?
no, homestead interactive convos and homestead missions. as well as city markers on the map.
there are probably other markers missing too but this is... well this is so off putting that i don't even feel like playing asscreed3 anymore...
Angry Joe has a good review

how the fuck do i find and level up ellen if i can't see homestead missions or convos on my map?

"Finally be a female assassin" (when he was talking about the multiplayer).
Um what? He makes some good points but he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about at times. Female characters have been in the multiplayer since the multiplayer was first released in Brotherhood.
Also he didn't bring up the massive clipping issues specifically with Desmond.

They don't all pop up at once. You need to complete others before more appear.
okay so i basically gave it a last ditch effort because i was having so much fun with the game i'd feel like a bitch giving up easy.
i had to scour like all 5 areas for a single interactive convo (which probably didn't do anything) and a homestead mission tucked away in the frontier...
did the homestead missions now there are two mission markers in homestead.
i have to say i'm happy everything didn't get completely fucked. markers on the map for cities are back too.
God damn, the multiplayer is terrible on this.
Why is it that only Brotherhood had a decent fucking menu?
I only really like the multiplayer with the deathmatch game mode.
The big games are fucking intense.

You're not a female ASSASSIN in brotherhood though, there are female characters but they aren't part of the actual asasssin group.
[editline]16th November 2012[/editline]
I like how AJ actually was annoyed by big battles NOT being like the one in the trailer. It would be near impossible to do in actual playable form. I can think of only one good way to do battles like that in gameplay form and it wouldn't really fit Assassin's creed's usual style.

Yes but you don't know that some of the characters in AC3's multiplayer are actually assassin's until you get their hacked files.
Whomever decided that you can't skip any cutscenes in the first game needs to go get shot. Of course I fail an assassination, and where it puts me back... before the 5 minute briefing given at the assassin's bureau.
Yeah, the first game is garbage and was really, probably a concept demo to show off the anvil engine, but the executives called for more.
really liked how they fixed EVERYTHING in AC2.
Like, I'm trying to get through it, I really am, I've owned it since release, and it's why I never played the other games, it's just really tedious and just... I don't know, has really bad game feel.

have we not told you this 20x before? interactive conversations and homestead missions unlock others, and the frontier doesn't show all icons, and won't show all icons because it didn't have enough sync points, just as upper New York with the assassin lady recruit doesn't show anything because there are no sync points.
So apparently, some guys managed to steal 'Join or Die' Edition copies of this game from a truck that was supposed to deliver it.
It's safe to say we can expect a leak sometime soon.

this isn't what i was talking about. my game was bugged so only a single homestead mission was on the entire 4 maps.
nothing of what you said has anything to do with this. this is a technical problem.

Yes it is, the conversation and homestead mission which you had to do before gaining access to the other missions you can now do where on a part of the map where no icons were shown, this is exactly what i've been saying. 60% of the frontier does not show mission icons, ever. T'is just the way it is.
uh i had to scour all of the maps for a single extremely random mission. then when i did that mission 6 homestead missions popped up. all of these missions i remember being on the map before they disappeared.
there was a single homestead mission after not doing any for 4 sequences on sequence 10. then after doing it all the missions come back
that's a bug.
[editline]16th November 2012[/editline]
either way i got ellen.
upgraded rope darts too and it didn't do shit. least i have like 24 bullets now.
also if i ever die in combat it'll switch one of my double barrel flintlocks for a single barrel one.
Wait a second, what are you on about? I went into the thread to say that the copies were stolen. I didn't come here to help you out, I didn't even read any of your posts.

dual pistols are bugged as fuck, the right one can change to a different gun, or disappear altogether on any game load.
dual duckfoot rapes
