100%'ed the story two days ago, stuck on one naval mission where you have to destroy three ships by blowing up their black powder storage.1
Terrible quality vid, but these two redcoats are just endlessly running around this house crying and screaming because I killed 30+ Redcoats. It's been going on for 20 mins now, still running around house and crying.
I've tried out 4 different driver versions, manually adjusted my GPU speeds (thought GPU temp might be causing a problem), tried updating DirectX, and lowered all of my settings, but my video drivers still crashing. Sometimes I can get a bit further than the time before, like I finally got past the first bit on the ship, but it still usually only last 3-4 minutes before my computer freezes and I'm staring at a black screen.
I don't mean to sound like that guy. But just wait a couple days. Patch coming out in a few days that will fix everything.
I don't mean to sound like that guy. But just wait a couple days. Patch coming out in a few days that will fix everything.
Bleh, I don't really have a choice. Any sources saying that they're working on a patch or is it just wishful thinking?
Posted this in the media megathread already, but the gap dashing is pretty ridiculous
This game feels so unfinished that it's disappointing. Probably the biggest glitch just happened. I capture some fort, and lower the flag. Suddenly Connor raises the American Flag which hasn't even been introduced in the story yet, and I don't even remember anything about the revolution having already started. I guess that's fine though mayb- Nope. Patriots kick out the reds, and as soon as the cutscene ends the patriots immediately start trying to kill me and control the whole base.
Holy fuck this game. I'm seriously loving it even more than AC2 (AC:B is still best tho in my book). Although what seriously pisses me off is this one tiny issue. Level 3 notoriety. SERIOUSLY, HOW DO YOU FUCKING LOSE IT IF EVERY TIME I TRY TO GET TO A CRIER OR TYPEWRITER I ALWAYS GET SPOTTED AND HAVE TO FIGHT INFINITE AMOUNT OF GUARDS. They made a good job making notoriety a serious issue, god fucking dammit.
holy shit 5 hours into the game that twist one thing I dont get is how does Connor know that [sp]Haytham is his father[/sp]
It's funny because even before reading this spoiler I knew who [sp]Haytham[/sp] was gonna be in relation to [sp]connor[/sp]. And I haven't even played the game yet :v:

So questions about the homestead. All upgrades are unlocked through missions, right? No book to buy craftsman or buildings like AC2? And once a provider runs out of materials to sell, when do they get more? The whole point of the craftsmen is to just buy their supplies and sell for more with trading caravans, right? Can someone explain the point of the tax percent to me when trading as well?
All I do is button mash in combat so I'm guessing that's what they're appealing too.
Although when you start encountering Grenadiers and Jagers in a bunch of normal musket men, you kinda have to not button mash.
I don't get all the hate for the Templars, I mean, they did invent banking.
ok seriously ubi its already been a day and still no mp servers or uplay functionality
I've been playing MP with other people just fine, the only issue I'm having is the horrible FPS in boston.

Craft using leveled up craftsmen and materials. You can craft more advanced materials(like glass) and special items(like double quiver). To craft items you need instructions, which you get from collecting almanacs, loot chests and completing homestead missions. Convoy thing is only used to sell your items. It is more profitable than selling it to a vendor in Boston or NY.

Now they don't even appear on the list of vendors. How would I be able to buy more from them? And for assassination contracts and frontiersmen missions, are there any hints on where to go for them? Will viewpoints reveal the locations?
Is anyone else unable to exit out or do anything on the accounting book in the PC version? Because I can't play anymore because of that. [editline]21st November 2012[/editline] I'm fucking pissed, they didn't even fix it in the patch
So the guards in towns wearing blue, who are they? Just a local militia? I remember after first accessing the accounting book, I could buy lumber and such. But now I cannot. Is there any reason a certain providers would stop selling or run out of things to sell? Or am I just experiencing a glitch?
So the guards in towns wearing blue, who are they? Just a local militia?
Patriots, atleast I assume they are.

The visuals in the game are great, it's a shame it always crashes my graphics card drivers. [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/109946215/2012-11-21_00006.jpg[/t] [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/109946215/2012-11-21_00008.jpg[/t] [editline]22nd November 2012[/editline] quality got fucked up by dropbox :c
Just something I did for PS contest and thought it was on topic.
So, I've just completed the Boston Tea Party mission (Sequence 6)... When am I able to equip the assassin outfits you get for the deluxe edition? I'm able to equip the ezio outfit but there deluxe edition ones aren't showing up. I've already entered the deluxe edition code.

Woo framerate drops This is what I get for pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe edition huh? Guess I'll go play Skyrim or something
also, does the mp really have twice the graphics options than sp
Last I checked, no. Hell I don't think it even has any options
okay so now there aren't any redcoats even in new york anymore... i dunno it's just not as satisfying killing patriots even if the only difference really is the uniforms.
