I know I'm late, but I still can't get over how well Ubisoft makes Special Editions. Every AC game had something worthwhile (sans AC1 and Revelations) that wasn't just an art book and exclusive DLC.
I think I'm spoiled by the previous games. While it's nice this is the first game were we follow our hero from almost the complete beginning I'm a bit annoyed it takes 5 sequences to start wearing the outfit.
Really not enjoying this nearly as much as previous AC titles. I've loved them all but my experience thus far in AC3 has been thoroughly frustrating.
So is AC3 all kill the brits and what not?
So is AC3 all kill the brits and what not?
It would be the last thing I'd put on a list of "Bad Things AC3 Does"
So is AC3 all kill the brits and what not?
Templars side with the faction that can control and order the other around. Not sure why people never thought about that.
Well, MP sucks big time. Disconnecting everywhere and can't find matches.
Anyone by chance have a code for the Sharpshooter for the 360? He's the only MP char that interests me and the NOS thing doesn't like my country.
This is pretty fucking annoying, near end of sequence six and the missions are shit. No good stealthy assassination missions with the freedom to approach it multiple different ways. Just shit like... 1. Walk here 2. Kill these soldiers 3. Now walk here 4. Cutscene 5. Kill some more soldiers I want a mission where they say "X is trafficking slaves to Templars, you need to stop that trade" Open ended and fun.

Why would they exist now?
I'm just waiting when there's some sort of mod where i can kill those damn children. God they annoy me so much.

Was just doing the Homestead mission where you herd pigs for Prudence, there was a wolf jumping in and out of the pen. Midway through the cutscene, while Connor is chatting to her, it jumps on him and starts ripping out his throat, and he keeps talking throughout it. Probably the most hilarious glitch I've seen in the game to date.
jesus ubisoft I thought you learned your lesson where the fuck are the checkpoints
So, out of curiosity which assassin do you guys prefer ? agree for Altair, informative for Ezio, useful for Connor.
Ahahahaha, holy shit, I am laughing my ass off right now. So I did the [sp] pig herding mission [/sp], I complete it, then I talk to [sp]Prudence[/sp] Suddenly, out of nowhere, DURING THE CUTSCENE, a wolf jumps through the two fences, attacks me and kills me :v: I need to have FRAPS on more often.
So, out of curiosity which assassin do you guys prefer ? agree for Altair, informative for Ezio, useful for Connor.
I actually like Connor more than Ezio.
I actually like Connor more than Ezio.
I kind of agree. Connor seems a little more like a walking rock without any feelings, but I guess that's what I like about him. He is always so serious it works in both serious and comical situations.
Did you notice that all the Assassins we play as have had at least one of their parents killed in early life?
So, out of curiosity which assassin do you guys prefer ? agree for Altair, informative for Ezio, useful for Connor.
Haytham [sp]Yeah I know about the twist but still[/sp] He's intelligent, educated, charismatic, logical and reasonable and unlike connor, he has one cause that he sticks too, instead of flip flopping about for the "cause" that suits what he wants most. I seriously would love a prequel entirely as Haytham.
Did you notice that all the Assassins we play as have had at least one of their parents killed in early life?
it's how to add cheap tragic edge to a character.
pretty much every native tribe trains themselves to feel no sorrow or pain theyre assholes but theyre assholes that arent getting hemorrhoids any time soon
usually such features are idealised in every culture if you think about it. but if you think all indians were like that its p much just a stereotype
Did you notice that all the Assassins we play as have had at least one of their parents killed in early life?
Not altair though.
Not altair though.
Altair's mother died during childbirth, his father was executed when he was 11, but if I recall correctly he was pretty distant from his father.
Wondering wither to buy this or not again. How is the PC version? A few pages back the whole page was filled with people having issues and that kinda puts me off.
I've had no problems with the PC version but I have been using a controller.
Only had minor issues on the PC version, rare crash here and there and some framerate drops but apart from that it's been pretty solid for me.
I've had no problems with the PC version but I have been using a controller.
The only problem with the PC controls is the lockpicking, and even then it's not that big of a deal.
Those types of missions didn't even exist in the other assassins creed games. Why would they exist now?
Really? The major assassination missions were a bit like that. Those and the people in the towers you had to kill to get rid of Templar loyalty in Rev
The only problem with the PC controls is the lockpicking, and even then it's not that big of a deal.
And lack of properly working multiplayer at the moment.
