They probably already had brain cancer at that point.

the clipping on the pistol and the sword really annoys me, surely it wouldn't have been that hard to move one of them a little

It seems that he already did and made the area afterwards.
I have a continuity question about the animus, [sp]If the animus is using your dna to recreate your memories, then why is it that you can still see a cut-scene as Hatham after he conceives Conner?[/sp]
There is no reason to think that precisely at that point he conceived Connor. He could've done it later I guess.
[sp] Or is there? [/sp]
The flying machine..Damn you ubisoft :v:
it's a thing built by people who have the capability to stop the sun from frying the earth by touching a giant glowing testicle.

i laughed so fucking hard...
Ending spoilers: [sp] Ugh really, going to end the game with such a cliff hanger ? Five games of building up desmond etc and they just kill him off in 10 seconds, what a waste [/sp]

I hate the whole counterfeiter chase too, not only does it have a chase sequence through massive crowds that get in your way, goes in circles and ends up with a ton of militia changing you, that guy fucking cheats and throws coins to fuck you up even more.
i didn't like the ending at all

He's extremely easy to counter. Just run parallel down the opposite street he's going because he'll eventually turn and run straight at you from an alleyway. An easy tackle.
i didn't like the ending at all
Neither did I. I beat it twice now and while I didn't fully understand it the first time, I payed attention through my second play thru and I still didn't like it, but we all know a sequel is coming -[sp]Just without Desmond[/sp]
But I do like that there is still a lot to do after you complete the main sequences. The naval missions, and the homestead missions add a lot; at one point I thought the homestead missions would never end :v: but along the way [sp]you do a job for Achilles where you gather these robes from a collapsing cave and bring them to him. Later he reveals that they will soon be yours and later on throughout the homestead missions, you go into the manor and find Achilles sitting dead in a chair with a note and go gather the town for a funeral and you bury him and then the robes are yours after you complete the mission.[/sp]
Achilles' original outfit looks pretty badass, except you can't dye it :(

Good god another one of those buttfuckingly annoying missions?

[sp]The woodworker get this huge boner over plans for a folding chair, but also in the plans he finds the blueprints for the machine. He builds it for Conner, and Conner crashes it in like 2 seconds.[/sp]
So, out of curiosity which assassin do you guys prefer ?
agree for Altair, informative for Ezio, useful for Connor.
Connor has a more interesting past in my opinion however he doesn't have the personality that Ezio does.
The lack of personality doesn't bother me too much personally so I prefer Connor. I mean, there's enough so that's fine.
Great. Another Mass Effect like ending. [sp] Although here we have no choice at all. What is with today's endings? Does all game writers are pessimists? Or are they just cruel?[/sp]
I started to hate the AC Series due to AC3... ._. really put me off and I have no hope for future AC installments.
Wow I thought the lockpicking would be the worst.
Turns out this games full of obnoxious, unfun "minigames" that you are forced to go through and figure out for yourself because while there are constantly hints for the most basic things (HIT E NOW) they can't describe how mid 17th century bowling works.
Ending spoilers: [sp] Ugh really, going to end the game with such a cliff hanger ? Five games of building up desmond etc and they just kill him off in 10 seconds, what a waste [/sp]
[sp] I still feel that Desmonds character was pretty much laid to waste, he trained so much only to do 3 missions in the finale and then randomly die off [/sp]
I'm in sequence 7 and so far I can say I really like what they did with the overall gameplay. Most of the abilities are still in, they are just connected to some other action. I do have to say some of the minigames you do once throughout the whole game are a bit annoying but luckily they are over quick. As for Connor I like his narrative speeches because those sound like Connor really matured while the "present" Connor I can't relate too much.
I wish you could level up your homestead a bit quicker, I have schematics for some great things but still can't craft them.
And those naval missions, those could really be a game on it's own. I purchased few upgrades and Aquila is a beast now.
So far I managed full sync on every mission, but I'm doing it as a habit, the reward is pretty shit, [sp]Altair's[/sp] outfit.
The naval missions blew me away with how fun they were. The upgrades trivialize it a bit (sup, double the cannons and 50% more health) but even in turbo easy mode it's fun to ride the waves and drop broadsides on fools. Also sniping with the swivel guns.
Yeah, once you upgrade cannons and health you are an artillery on water.

So how am I supposed to get this page?
Go near it and it will start to fly away, then you wait till it is near some object you can get onto and jump after it.
So, you guys really mean it that there are a lot of shit to do post main story? So I should lay waste and wait through 25 minutes of credits ? Or anyway to skip them?
Is there any way to skip cutscenes in this?
nvm its giving me an option to skip them now
