Is there any way to skip cutscenes in this?
IIRC it's holding B/circle. Not sure what the equivalent is for PC. Might be whatever the counter attack key is since B/circle is counter on console
Go near it and it will start to fly away, then you wait till it is near some object you can get onto and jump after it.
It doesn't exist, it's just an icon. [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/596987480106619302/E0972AE21BCCF0795ABD0AE198AAB16EE268E495/[/t]
Is there any way to skip cutscenes in this? nvm its giving me an option to skip them now
sorry to ask again but how the hell do i shoot, i wasn't really paying much concentration in the tutorial and can't find out how, i've got as far as pressing F to lock on but left clicking just makes him shake the gun even though i watched him reload it before
Anyone else having massive FPS drops once they hit Boston?
Maybe beacuse the amount of people moving around? Also no.
It's really making the game unplayable for me, level in the opare and the ship were fine, steady 70-80 FPS.
[sp] I still feel that Desmonds character was pretty much laid to waste, he trained so much only to do 3 missions in the finale and then randomly die off [/sp]
The training wasn't so much to train him, it was more of a bonus to finding to artifacts. The games were about finding them :v:
ending shit [sp] tbh i don't think they really knew how to end it, i think they needed to end it in a way that it could be continued on but they also said that it was the end for desmond so they just decided to take a cheap route and kill him off [/sp]
The training wasn't so much to train him, it was more of a bonus to finding to artifacts. So is anyone playing the multiplayer on PC? Please tell me it's actually alive... It looks like loads of awesomeness.

I think I said this some far away pages ago, but to me, they could have picked a way better time period. The French Rev comes to mind and the nappy wars would be really awesome. The thing about the American Revolution, was that nothing really happened. It was a couple battles and sieges, with winter being the biggest ally to the Separatist cause. It was probably why they added the Naval system into the game. It could have just been more interesting had it been during the later period, but whatever. Having it in the french Rev and nappy wars would have made the game a lot more flexible and interesting, the reason AC2 worked out was because they had a vast assortment of events to work with, and in AC3 you can kinda notice that they start to struggle to piece the events together. With the Napoleonic period, you have conflict across literally all of Europe. Would have been better in my opinion, but whatever. I enjoyed the game and I felt attached to Conner by the end. [editline]26th November 2012[/editline] Was I the only one that was kinda like...HOW, when it came to them traveling and such?
Thanks to whoever at Ubisoft decided the lockpicking mechanic for the PC version should be impossible to fucking decipher, and not even put it in the fucking manual. Yeah we have to put literally everything else in the manual except for the instructions on how to win your dumb stupid minigames that are padding between the actual fun bits. I can't believe they spent so little time designing the last game in the franchise holy shit.

Well, in any language not English that is. The hints make literally 0 sense in any language other than English, making it impossible to properly open the doors without looking it up or guessing.

is it me or the ui for..well managing your resources in the region is...kinda really fucking annoying unless you use a controller, i got to use my keyboard most of the times just to scroll trough the items couldnt they have a few colums and a scrolling list instead of the weird thing they have now

Which is surprising considering AC2, Brotherhood, and Revelations all had really good PC ports.
I'm glad they brought back some of the moral ambiguity from AC1, instead of straight up ASSASSINS GOOD TEMPLARS BAD
The Colonial Assassin outfit would be perfect if it wasn't for that goofy hat, I would've preferred a hood, and am I the only one who's disappointed that there's no Haytham costume?
The whole interface is a pain to navigate on PC. Which is surprising considering AC2, Brotherhood, and Revelations all had really good PC ports.
Well to be fair the port itself is awesome, while the interface wasn't redesigned for a mouse.
The accounting book (crafting, etc.) and weapon selection really bothers me with it's clear console design. It just takes so long to find the right thing. And one thing about crafting, they really should have made blueprints you can craft once disappear after you make them.
It takes just as long on console, the accounting book is horrible no matter what you play ac3 on.
Accounting book isn't that terrible in my opinion. The weapon wheel is terrible though. It takes to so long to change weapons I don't even bother. I have tomahawk and hidden blades on my quickslots, and they're all I use because using anything else is so frustrating. The weapon wheel was much better in the past AC games. I have a question, can you do a low profile double assassination? I can do running and jumping double kills with the hidden blade, but cannot do one walking.
Hey guys guess who only just discovered you can send Assassin recruits on contracts during Memeory Sequence 8. Seriously the Assassin Guild menu on PC fucking sucks
Is anyone else having severe performance issues? I have a 570GTX, which should play this game fine, but once I get to Boston or anywhere with many NPCs it drops to unplayable levels of frame rates. Anyone else dealing with this? I'm sort of disappointed that I payed $60 for a game that won't run smoothly on decent hardware.
Anyone?....
I will definitely try once I'm done with SP. I managed to get level 50 in Revelations. As for low profile double assassinations, I learned that you need to get close to 2 enemies next to each other, stop, hold high profile button (RMB by default), it will highlight both of them and then you can kill them. Unfortunately, as far as I know it isn't very low profile. It's more useful when you need to kill 2 lone guards without the other detecting you.
