My reaction to AC3's movement system pre-final mission: "Mmm... moves like butter. I like this."
Final mission: HOLY SHIT THIS PIECE OF SHIT ASFDADGBD
Oh you're just starting to hate it? I swear I was about to jam my controller into my skull chasing after those almanac pages, that was the dumbest fucking thing I've ever forced myself to do.
"Oh, you want to run across that wire between two houses? I think the ground is much nicer."
Wonder when Ubisoft will fix the alternative outfit colours not showing up during cutscenes.
The highlights do show.
Yeah, this annoys me a lot. Some of the color variants look very nice but they disappear in the cutscenes. At least costumes don't change back to default uniform.
Also I'm saving money until I've crafted all best weapons. And I guess some of you know this but best way to get money is by naval convoys and send them to Virgin Islands. They give incredible amounts of cash for bear pelts and if you don't want to go hunting, craft saddles.
Wolf Pack's pretty fun when your teammates aren't completely stupid.
Tip: If there's ten seconds left and 500 points left to go and you see me sneaking up on a target, please don't sprint up to them, knock into the entire crowd and get a shitty hundred point kill.

I just wonder how these people play the single player when I see them in multiplayer doing this.
I wonder if they ever get 100% synchronization, at all.

I remember when MP was down and I managed to get in, I did some solo-normal wolfpack. It was pretty fun, but I got bored after two missions.
Hai, so i got assasins creed 3 from the ubisoft store, but when i try to launch it obviously brings up uplay and asks for the cd key, but i have no idea where to find the cd key to activate. Does anyone know where to find it?
I had one guy that did nothing but sprint around getting awful kills while killstealing off other people. He'd ruin every single group synchronisation by just wading in going for assassinations.
I wish there was some in game communication system so I could kindly go and tell him to eat a dick

The funniest part is that's the only Wolfpack game I've ever seen through to the end of sequence 25.
I'm at the (sequence 11(?) spoilers) [sp]Lee chase[/sp] and oh my fucking god this shit is really fucking frustrating.

Don't worry, it shouldn't take more than an hour or five.
The Chasing lee mission made me want to rip my eyeballs out.
Also I didn't like the ending.
How long are the credits I've been waiting for a long time now.

I know I don't.
Whats up with people hating on chasing Lee mission ? I was stuck on it because I didn't know the correct route, but I managed to find it and it took me like 20 minutes and I ended up with full synchronization

Are you sure we're talking about the same mission? Because if you managed to do that in 20 minutes, then fuck you.
What's wrong with the chase I did it on my first try
It's kinda annoying having the sprint on one button but for some reason I misjump in ACIII a lot less than in Revelations
I'm at the (sequence 11(?) spoilers) [sp]Lee chase[/sp] and oh my fucking god this shit is really fucking frustrating.
Oh shit, I still haven't got to that part but I did watch it while waiting for the PC release and I thought it looked doable. Hopefully, I'll do it quick.
For example the [sp]Hickey[/sp] chase wasn't that hard for me. I learned that if you stop running you don't push people around and you don't gain much distance either. That way I actually caught me very early.

Don't knock anyone over, while having to assassinate three rows of 2 guards and not getting hit by an explosion all the while staying within 50m of your target and to top it all off another row of 5 guards WITH PEOPLE TALKING THERE AS WELL at the end..
I didn't really have any issues with the chase, aside from learning the route which was where most of the frustration existed it was fairly simplistic to avoid the attacks.
I got lucky and the game glitched on the Chasing Lee mission so there was only about a fraction of the NPCs spawned so I was able to get through it fairly easily. It wasn't until I saw everyone raging over it and looking up a gameplay video out of curiosity did I realize there was supposed to be about 5 times the amount of redcoats blocking the way than there was in my game. v:v:v
I didn't really have much difficulty with the burning ship part of it though. Took me maybe three or four tries before I figured out the correct route to take without taking any fire damage (I kept running into the same bit of fire several times like an idiot before I realized there was an alternate route).
Uh, so what now?
I've done the final mission and now... I would guess I go for a 100%, or do whatever.
The game is really laggy now for some reason though, and the cities doesn't show up in the big map.

The ship wasn't the hard part though.

Sometimes connor would just jump onto the templars instead of assassinating them...
[editline]29th November 2012[/editline]
Or they would stab you before you could assassinate.
Or a random person would just decide to move to the right, or they would get scared and run because of the assassination and get in your way. Or I just waited too long before moving (to avoid getting hit by the explosion) and he'd get too far away. The few times I've made it with 100% sync, I'd always be at 49m at the end of the dock before quickly jumping left onto the other small dock part and then up the wall, which made the distance go back to ~45 which gave enough room to get to the burning ship part.
I'm not really enjoying this game that much, is it just me?
Yeah, the hardest part wasn't the ship. That was basic platforming. The fucking retarded part was the chase, especially if you were going for 100% synch. I did that part about 25 times and almost every single time a civilian went somewhere they weren't supposed to, guards bugged out, or the controls just didn't do what I wanted them to to do. Another part was earlier when you had the optional objective to tackle the dude from the air, the game simply didn't do it until the 10th try, instead deciding to tackle random guards or just not work at all.
Also is anyone else annoyed by how little the narrative matches the gameplay? Like the forced stealth parts in most scenarios, what does it matter? I can cut through entire platoons of British soldiers, why do I have to sneak into this area with maybe 5 dudes in it? Or the part where you HAVE [sp]to kill Ratakenhon or whatever Connors childhood friend was and you aren't allowed to disarm, something I had been doing for hours before hand?[/sp]. Huge parts of this game feel like someone designed them then didn't actually play them.
Yet another moment is when you are playing as Desmond and [sp]rescuing his father[/sp] the game lets you do a variety of dual hidden blade kill moves then as soon as combat ends the other hidden blade completely disappears from your model.

I liked parts of it, individual missions and some of the new features, maybe even a couple whole sequences.
As a game it was completely frustrating to play.
For some reason I liked the Templars more than the Assassins in this AC.
Their reasons made sense, and Haytham was always right in what he said. Also Haytham was much cooler than Connor, hell I liked even Charles.
Is it just me?

Yeah I really liked how they portrayed the Templars, although I think they could have made Lee look like less of a disney villain.

I could still use the blade, just not see it.
For me the game was bugged to hell, entities a few inches away from where they were supposed to be, stuttering and ragdolls spazzing out (Legs flying everywhere when still attatched to the body) and stuff.

I wouldn't say I liked the Templars but Haytham was a great character.
You guys make me feel bad. I kept getting stuck on the ship part of the Lee chase because I never noticed that another path opened up, but the running part just seemed pretty easy, if you don't stop to kill everyone.
Made a video to show how easy the Lee chase actually is

I did it much faster than you and I'd still say it's a dumb sequence so I think you failed at your point.
