I did it much faster than you and I'd still say it's a dumb sequence so I think you failed at your point.
The only point I agree with is the citizens, they are kind of a pain but other than that can't really see how guards would glitch out, for me sometimes the guards weren't able to get on the firing line sometimes. Also much faster than me ? Let's see how you did it, the only part really was where I grabbed onto the wrong thing, but even then I was able to 100% it

The guards for me would break lines every other restart, making keeping within 50m of the target literally impossible to achieve. [editline]29th November 2012[/editline] Also one of the times the first two soldiers were straight up not where they usually were and that threw me off enough to not get 50m synch either. It's just a poorly designed event. It requires perfect runs and for a game that in my experience fucks up constantly to not fuck up a single time to get 100% synch.
Seriously Ubisoft, this is ridiculous. EDIT: To clarify, Ubisoft still hasn't patched the issue, and their official reply is, "We're investigating it, but we're hoping on Nvidia/AMD to release drivers to fix it for us while we scratch our asses and watch our piracy rates skyrocket." I'm seriously disappointed, I thought they spent three weeks optimizing this game for PC, they obviously forgot to mention that they only tested it on a few hardware setups.
I saw that thread when it had 3 pages a week or so ago, and they guy never stated what the reason was. He just kept going, "I know what it is"
Made a video to show how easy the Lee chase actually is
Bullshit. There's supposed to be 2 soldiers directly after the barrels. There's 8 soldiers in total, 2 by the barrels, 2 after those and then 4 near the turn. Your game was missing those first 2 soldiers.
I'm not really enjoying this game that much, is it just me?
I stopped playing at sequence 7 due to the unbelievable fucking lag
Bullshit. There's supposed to be 2 soldiers directly after the barrels. There's 8 soldiers in total, 2 by the barrels, 2 after those and then 4 near the turn. Also those soldiers like to roam quite a bit. Like I said, poorly designed.

So yeah missing another 5 soldiers. His game was missing 7 soldiers in total, all of them would've fucked his run up because of the path he took.
See this video for the correct amount of templars [editline]30th November 2012[/editline] Saw some interesting routes among the many videos, one went onto the last boat and jumped from the front mast thingy, hadn't thought of that.
Ah I forgot about those. So yeah missing another 5 soldiers. Considering the video above me was taken on a console version. And yeah pretty obviously something I would've taken a different route if there would have been more templars.
I don't know how you guys thought the last chase was hard, most of the chases throughout the game teach you to not just follow the guy, but to take alternate routes.
I'm not really enjoying this game that much, is it just me?
I'm having a blast just freeroaming.
I don't know how you guys thought the last chase was hard, most of the chases throughout the game teach you to not just follow the guy, but to take alternate routes.
Except there are barely any alternate routes that allow you to stay within 50m or allow you to continuously follow him without getting slowed down. Some of the routes I've seen were completely unorthodox and I doubt any average player would've even thought of that. [editline]29th November 2012[/editline] That entire chase was luck based.

Why is Artifact assault even a thing, I can't be the only person that doesn't find it fun at all And more importantly why does it think I'd want to play it when it can't find any Manhunt games.
I hate the lack of viewpoints in the Frontier make me have to explore most of it on foot. It will take so long. It was alright in the cities, but the Frontier is a bitch to explore the whole lot. Also, are the pivots worth getting? I have a couple, and the only worthwhile one is the season changing one.
I don't get what you're all complaining about, that was the first route I took and I beat it in two minutes.

PC version is missing 7 soldiers. 2 after the barrels and 5 just after the 2 midway. It's a LOT harder on the consoles when your path is being blocked the whole time.
Damn, I really want to play AC3 since I got it free with my video card, but I never got far in Brotherhood and never even played Revelations. How bad of an idea would it be to just go ahead with AC3? I'm... not really sure what disagree is supposed to mean here.
Anyone want to play some wolfpack? I would rather play with facepunch than randoms who keep taking the 150 point kills, my name in game is Xainiax.
imo I thought the lee chase was cool because in-universe the glitching meant that connor was so angry as fuck that not even desmond, who lived 3 of his ancestors, could keep up with his pure rage and FURY

dude, it was a hard trial and error sequence, surely for the ending of the game they tried making something harder
hard

trial and error
what trial and error inherently lacks difficulty because it relies on finding the one path to your goal. It's not harder to take other paths, it's impossible. The AC games are chock full of trial and error (AC1 was 90% trial and error, 10% running places and stabbing people to death) but to have it as the ending sequence, especially one that is such a victim to randomness, is incredibly annoying.
ac was never a game where a proper boss fight could be made, so they chose to give you one trial and error chase, and it wasn't even that bad, in fact I personally found it cool
I thought they, y'know, patched the Lee chase? Yeah, they did
I thought they, y'know, patched the Lee chase? Yeah, they did
Well that explains it. I haven't played AC3 in over 2 weeks because I just can't get into it. It's so boring compared to the others when you complete the game.
oh neat another video of someone going slower than me defending a terribly put together sequence as if the difficulty is what anyone is complaining about. this thread needs it's own rating, lets call it bad reading.
Slower than you ? Didn't you say that it was impossible for you to stay within 50 meters with him :v: that would mean you were slower. But yeah, the chase is bullshit if you guys have to deal with so many fags at the beginning, but at least they patched / were patching it
I like how with Altair he was like, "I gotta restore my honor!" With Ezio it was, "I gotta fuck ALL the women!" and Conner is all, "I gotta kill ALL the white men!"
