I kinda wish they would implement some sort of den defense in a different way like in an actual battle instead of tower defense.
i wonder how stereotypical he will be
I hope there'll be missions where you have to get through some big battlefield while the fighting is going on to assassinate some commander or stuff like that. Shit would be awesome.
Will he lose his life to firewater?
Will he lose his life to firewater?
Yes, he will set fire to it, and then he will burn.
So it has wildlife + pelt collecting, takes place in pre-industrial U.S., and much of the game is wilderness?
Assassin's Redemption?
i wonder how stereotypical he will be
he will follow the general character pattern, he's going to be a little stereotypical of his heritage, and too modern-minded for his age and era
Starts in 1753, so we get all of the French and Indian wars too. It's sounding more and more like Last of the Mohicans.
this subject is kind of alien to europeans, I am 17, living in Hungary and I have not yet had the American revolution in my studies, so it's nice of him to point this out- many people might not know what the fuck the flag is
[editline]2nd March 2012[/editline]
the reason the assassins creed games have so good fanbase is because it was based on european history - something that is rare for AAA games.
only the intellectual layer of americans enjoyed it. it seems to change now, we'll learn if for the better or worse
No, I'm British, not American. It was late when I posted and I'd seen him posting a few analysis pictures and videos and it was getting on my rag for some reason. I take it all back.

Assassin's Redemption?
RDR wasn't pre-industrial
I am beyond excited about jumping from tree to tree to escape assassinations.

Graphics is awesome hope this time story will be better
I don't know if this has been said yet but, since the main character is (presumably) a mohawk indian, I think he might be blamed (or participate) in the Bosten tea party. Because some of the people who were in it dressed as mohawk indians during it.

You know know one then believed Indians were involved, right? It was just to scare and maybe referencing the fact in the old British political "cartoons" showed the American colonies as a Indian Woman or Princess.

That's just the white man putting him down with a white man name
I'd imagine the combat might be like where the soldiers shoot once, then try to charge you with their bayonet. Then maybe when you are distracted by soldiers trying to stab you, other soldiers will back up and will attempt to reload their musket to try and shoot you. Either way, the combat will most likely be more in-depth than just mashing the counter button.

Was I the only one that almost never used the counter button? When brotherhood came out all you had to do was kill one guy, then it was basically rapefest and killing everyone else around you was a breeze.
I don't see any hints of a hidden blade in the screenshots, and by hints I mean something like this:

You can see a sort of holster for it.

I wonder how he's going to influence the Battle of Trenton

The thing I really want to see is the human wave attack on Breed's Hill

He should be named Chad.
Altair, Ezio, Chad.
Oh boy, I studied the American Revolution last year. It was really interesting can't wait to experience it from the eyes of an assasin.

But you won't be able to experience it from his eyes, the game is in third person.

True, you experiencing it from Desmond's eyes.
I hope Desmond reverts to his old face and not the monkey face he had in AC:R.
