AC1 was like. Decent. It's a like 7.8 / 10 game. The game has a really great scale and I love the time period, it's just fucking tedious and the assassinations suffers from a bureaucratic process. My favorite part is how you stab a person in the throat during every assassination, then they talk to you for five minutes :v:
Actually Ezio, Altair and even Desmond got a new face in Revelations.
And then desmond got a plastic surgery. Which makes him look like a total douche.
And yeah. Speaking of music, that's Jasper Kyd. It's one of the main reasons why I played half of the new hitman game, and am putting it on hold. You just can't go from a composer like Kyd, to a composer who resorts to the most generic film score.

I was speaking of the series in general. AC3 still samples a lot of music that Kyd produced while he worked on it.
Also, does anyone know when the first DLC is gonna be released? Thought i read it somewhere but can't find it.

So I killed a guard on a horse, and the horse is following me everywhere. I don't think that's supposed to happen, is it a common glitch? No matter where I run it will be there 5 seconds later. I had an intense chase and escape from some enemies, through trees, over buildings and all. I finally escaped, 5 seconds later that horse comes galloping out of a nearby alley.

Okay now the horse just went up to a random civilian, turned around so the man was behind him, and started kicking. It bashed the man's head into the wall 4 or 5 times until he died. Then it started following me again.

That guy was probably a redcoat or something.

The only time I used the poison darts was in a Benedict Arnold mission where I had to assassinate a spy within a group of soldiers and kept getting detected.

Why'd they remove the weapon wheel So stupid
Why'd they remove the weapon wheel So stupid
That was one of my complaints, the new weapon select screen is so clunky, I want to switch to my tomahawk? Here a have a black screen where an enemy can get a free hit on you!
I got a short video of the stalker horse. Can't leave the playstation on forever so I had to say goodbye. No footage of it going homicidal on a random civilian though, that was the most bizarre and hilarious glitch I've seen in a game.
the horse is better at stalking me than me stalking my fucking targets.

Some kind of overlay would have been better, you know, just like in the previous games.

As in, rather than the last person said, just have the black weapon screen on the gamepad
I also don't like how defensive combat is. AC1 was the same way, then AC2-Revelations gave you opportunities to break the enemies guard and chain kills together. In AC3, 3 of the 5 enemy types require you to wait for them to attack before you can do anything, one of those can't be disarmed, and 2 of those can't be thrown. You can break defense and combo but they interupt before the combo finishes, meaning you have to do it multiple times.
Can you switch weapons using the Wii U gamepad? As in, rather than the last person said, just have the black weapon screen on the gamepad
I'm using mouse and keyboard and there are 4 quick slots which you can customize.

The four that come to mind are the normal musket guys, the dagger wielding little guys, the big guys with the axes and the commander like guys with the swords? All of which I believe (minus the little guys) can have their defence broken. I personally like the combat in this new game, however, I am still with everyone on the lack of a good weapon wheel, etc.
What's the boner for gigantic kill combos sans full sync (even then the max is like 3?) Regular grunts and snipers can be kill countered, grenadiers and officers can be break countered Only grenadiers can't be combo killed, but you can just ignore them since they have huge windup animations

(daggers) Officers (sabre, pistol) Grenadiers (heavy axe, musket) Jager (sabre, pistol, grenades) The Jager only shows up during certain missions and at Noteriety 3 so they aren't terribly common Anyway, yes they can have their defense broken, but it's far easier to just wait for swing > kill for the first two, or swing > disarm > combo for the latter 3. I feel like Brotherhood had a good balance of kill chains, combos, counter kills, double kills, and defense. If the crossbow wasn't the best weapon for every scenario ever I'd say it was perfect. [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] AC3 combat is still leagues better than AC1 though so it's not terrible just a step back imo.
I really hate the fact that two outfits are preorder bonuses. They are just cosmetic items and I truly don't like the look of them but I hate having two empty spaces on my wall. Right now I need to fix the last two naval missions to get full sync on them and then I'm missing only some of the challenges. Surprisingly, the hardest mission to get full sync on so far was when you have blow up those 2 ships, but I think the last naval mission will take the cake.
Running around in target cam is so satisfying [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] By the way where's the cheat to make Connor's hair grow back

I have question, all melee weapons have speed, damage and combo stats. What does the combo stat does exactly?
Is there any way to unequip weapons?
I think the combat is pretty okay. There are a lot of times when you just have hordes of regulars, where you slice through in 10 seconds. And when the Jägers come around, you counterkill with your secondary weapon (or disarm them and let them endure some pain). Also, I like how ship combat can be hectic, with cannon balls flying overhead and Connor screaming "FIRE!" at the top of his lungs. It's just too bad the ship segments don't really have depth. I'd like to walk around the ship and converse with the crew, much like Haytham does in the prologue.
