You should copy over your MP .ini file and use it as your SP .ini file, I heard that solved a lot of performance issues, I know it fixed some of mine.
Where's the INI files and what're they called? I can't find shit right now.
Looking back, they don't exactly [sp]seem like they're assassins other than the fact Haytham has a hidden blade[/sp]
I wasn't surprised in the slightest. [sp]Assassins always talk about them being Assassins. Haythem only ever said "our organisation"/"brotherhood", but never named it. The most obvious twist evah. And Haythem is just too cool to be assassin. They're all pussies and half-assed philosophers about everything in the world[/sp]

Only Tempelar scum would say that!
So I just started AC2 (yeah, I got it just now). I know I shouldn't expect much since it's older but everything looks pale as hell.

It gets more colourful, seemed fine to me though. Brotherhood starts to look better. Florence seems to have that brownish tint to it but Venice is very nice.
is brotherhood and revelations a better port than AC2? I still have no idea what the fuck the controls are.
Haha, I'm just in sequence 2 and I gotta agree. The icons instead of buttons are annoying. I still have to play Brotherhood but Revelations didn't have that.
LMB is the left one, space is the bottom, shift is the right, E is the top.

It's better in brotherhood I believe.
Also, blue is the LMB, green is E and red is Shift.
6 sequences before the game actually starts
And then it's over in no time after that.

Actually, if you collect all feathers, stuff for wooden paw (if he's called that, I had the Dutch version), do all the homestead missions, it'll last quite long.

And do all the club missions and achievements / trophy's it lasts even longer. I got 100% sync after a week playing about 7-8 hours a day.
I'd rather play as [sp]Haytham[/sp] Than Connor would make for much interesting "Real world" conversations.

I take it Wooden Paw is the guy you get trinkets for? His name in the English version is Peg Leg.

Yes.
If it were for my Id play in English, but my dad insisted on installing it in Dutch for me.
Damn, I miss the combo system in AC2. It makes fights end so quickly. You can do some things but they don't speed up the fights. So it's mostly mashing attack and countering.

I play on xbox and you can't even change the fucking language if you wanted to..
Can't you change the system language? So that all games will be in English. Seems logical and also works like that on phones
I play on xbox and you can't even change the fucking language if you wanted to..
I can only change it at installation.
Oh my god, when Desmond's dad punched him in the face, that will go down to be the best gaming moment in history. I just couldn't stop laughing.
On another note, anyone playing on the Xbox getting an annoying frame rate drop in Boston? I'm hoping its not just me, is there a way to stop it somehow? Really irritating.

nope
if you call collecting feathers gameplay, sure
but i'd rather stick knives down my urethra than be forced to stay in the frontier for more than 20 minutes
My god, the lack of viewpoints there is so shit. It took me about 6 hours total of running around in treetops, riding horses and stuff just to get the whole Frontier mapped out.
heh found out my town is in this game.
it's spelled louisbourg by the way not louisburg!

Why's that?

The subtitles suck man.
Shame you need them for the Indian parts.
I'm playing AC2 and it's so good. Only thing I'm missing is the more fluid combat from AC3 and better graphics of course. And the Templars are portrayed as pure evil, which is a bit cheap. But I really like Ezio maturing, side missions that don't take much time and reward you nicely, rewards (mainly money) for story missions... The economy system is nice and simple and I like how the more invest the better your city looks.
So, the first time you're kind of forced outside the animus, I was walking around in Eagle Vision and I noticed this women there, looked kind of like the girl helping you at first. I'll see if I can get a picture.
Couldn't get her 'back' but now that I thought about maybe it's Juno?

I just hate Ezio's voice in AC2. Too high pitched, compared to how badass it is in revelations or brohood.

That's what age and balls dropping does to us.
