I'm still pissed at valve for adding the fucking market to TF2. And fucking ADs in CounterStrike. I'm nervous that Portal 2 might be their first ever disappointing release cuz it's obvious that Valve's selling out.

Weren't the ads only on the loading screen anyway? Where ever they were they were really unobtrusive.

In all honesty, I'm not surprised. That Mojang won over Valve, AND is winning over Bioware. Valve vs. Mojang: Sure, HL2 may be one of the best games out there, and Left for Dead, Portal and TF2 are still fun, but let's face it. Which would you rather spend all day on? If you ask me, the Valve games get old after a while. There's only so much zombie killing and trading one person can do. Minecraft completely engrosses you to build "just one more thing." I'm not saying Mojang is way better, but Minecraft is more fun.

Gentlemen. I fear minecraft may have become, dare I say, Popular. Every twinkle eyed tossbag from age 10 and up has it and would literately stab a baby rather than let god emperor notch down. The only reason valve give a shit, however small it is, is because they're getting some more popularity they deserve, whereas Mojang have produced a game they can't keep up with, even with the amount of time they have every week, if Mojang win, then surely the creator of QWOP, that annoying flash game should get entered next time, because it's innovative, and it's very hard to accomplish anything.

Since you can connect to your FB account directly to vote, they beat a bunch of em. It literally took a conserted effort from several forum sites and widespread "FUCK FUCK FUCK!" to stop them.

I dislike Bioware nowadays. They were cool back in the KOTOR and ME1 days, but now they churn out games with pre-order bonuses from every store within 50 miles. After you buy the game, you then start adventuring and you come across what seems to be the start of a new, intriguing adventure only to be greeted with a dialogue option that says (Buy DLC). It's pitiful, the way Bioware treats its consumers. I'd gladly pick Mojang over Bioware because of the way they treat the guys who buy their game. Minecraft is a game built on community input and ideas from the developers. There are no launch day DLCs for Minecraft, no locked features, and no nickel and dimeing. Bioware is in league with Actvision and Call of Duty in my book.

What the hell? How could Mojang beat valve? :sigh: They've only got minecraft, which i personally am very fed up with already. Feels as if i've seen everything it has to offer. Oh and that crappy upcoming card game.

I don't think it's the fact that The Escapist sucks, I think it's just down to the concept of all the other devs losing now.
