I looked through some of their videos, and they developed an amazing sound system as it seems, but they never released any source code or anything for it... :(
It would really be wonderful to implement something like this in the mod, I'm going to contact them if they intend on releasing/sharing their code someday....

They do have toes, it's just you can't see them from that angle. Not sure if there's a mouth on it yet or not.
They'd basically all be easter eggs, nothing really game-changing, except for having one or two of the theorised new weapons (Tau Cannon, Trip mine, and or Gluon Gun) and ammo for them (which will be scarce!).
I don't know if you need the [I]Source[/I] SDK but you'll at least need the [I]alienswarm[/I] SDK.

The original Xbox had hardware supported EAX that a lot of games at the time used. Dedicated hardware accelerated audio is sorta dead so unless you have a Creative sound card you can't get that kind reverb.
It really sucks because it's awesome.
It would be pretty cool if someone could get that Gsound solution working with Source though. Like, very cool.

Yeah, we can look into it: source has its own DSP and sound echo occlusion system: we should be able to easily modify it.
The echo is still there, but only partially: probably has to do with the soundscapes and visportals.

And for the crowbar you can have a forced QTE where the idle animation doesn't end unless you mash E fast and hard enough to break your fingers
how about a QTE where you press E to to pry the crowbar into crates and then mash the fire button to use the crowbar how it's actually supposed to be used? :v:

I think there are no ironsights mainly because of simplistic gameplay design, on purpose. If there ever was a zoom-and-shoot it would definitely not be through ironsights, something more like that technology demo back in 2003 for half life 2 where you held the suit zoom and could still fire.
But none the less it is still pretty pointless because enemies aren't ever far enough away to really need to zoom in that much and kill them.

Don't be sorry! All feedback is great and helps to improve the design. I was taking inspiration for the hooves from OBM's Houndeye, which I'm starting to agree that at this stage the claws are more suited to this design. Let me know if you guys think the same.
Corgi has been giving me pointers on where to change the design and they've been very helpful. I'll hopefully get some new pics up either today or tomorrow :D
