got me thinking, wouldn't it be nice if the grassy areas of the coast maps were riddled with small detail sprites? not as tall as these obviously, but tall enough to make the rather flourishingly green surfaces look less dead and flat

Always wanted to do something like that- though not sure what performance impact it would have.

you'll hit the 64k limit on detail props very very very fast
speaking of the coast. The lighthouse dropship battle needs a complete overhaul
it's so incredible boring and anticlimactic that you just sit and wait for the soldiers to come out of the dropship one at the time and blast them
hell even the battle just before that was infinitly more "challenging"

Give him some grey highlights in his hair and make his eyes less baggy, looks a bit intense at the moment.

He already has some grey highlights, they're just not very prominent. You can see them better in the in-game screenshots.
I'll see what I can do about the eyes once again.
If you're going to modify the weapon functions, the only thing I want done is to bring the old Alt fire exploit with the pistol back, that was so funny to dump a whole mag in one shot :v:

The stunstick would be a pretty neat weapon for the mod. Maybe it could be a less than lethal or non lethal weapon :v:

Compared to the original, I think his hair has too much of a brown to it compared to the seemingly less saturated original.

I was just playing through HL2 again, and I thought exactly that. I wanted to be able to beat people to death with that... however the hell you spell the sound it makes. It's so satisfying in Garry's mod. It wouldn't be a big deal though if they decide to not include that in the mod, though.

I sort of agree, it makes sense since Freeman uses all the other weapons they drop apart from that. Make the 'stats' like the wrench from OpFor if it was implemented.
Only thing is, it would mostly be just another weapon to take up a slot in your "inventory", not really serving any real purpose. Considering you already have the Crowbar, I think Gordon would have thought "Heck why do I another melee weapon if I already have one?".
I think that new weapons and features should only be implemented when they will directly change the gameplay for the better. Remember, it's the [I][B]Enhancement[/B][/I] Mod. Expansion is nice and all, but only when it serves the purpose of making the game better, which is what the mod is about ofc.
