Please keep the original sounds. The only things i'd change would be the amount of rebel voices and the ammount of sounds for physics reactions

Some maps need a buff as they are ugly as sin (the coast's displacements) I'll be reworking them to look more awesome and realistic, while keeping the original charm and layout. We will also be recompiling with smaller lightmaps scales, and getting rid of uglies.

I feel like those walls might be a tad dark, or too brown rather than beige. I dunno. It still looks pretty great though, and I don't think it needs changing.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed but have you guys thought about putting in weapons that would best fit HL2's atmosphere? I know having HK MP7 and USP match is kinda nostalgic but it just feels weird having state-of-the-art German weapons in a Dystopian city that appears to be taking place in Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Georgia, etc.) Considering City 17 is a combination of a post cold war era city and alien architecture, would've made sense if Valve put AK's, PPSH's, Makarov/TT-33 type of weapons along with its fictional science-y weapons. Although I do love the spas 12, always felt it was just as iconic as the crowbar.
The Pistol and MP7 are manufactured by the Combine for their military forces. Also Corgi also said they aren't adding new npc weapons if the old ones do the same thing.

They need to be toned down until barely noticeable. Also, it seems very unrealistic that they are all functional.
That's the combine on earth, but I'm not sure why there would be a stockpile of German weapons considering the territory. Not to mention HK weaponry or any weaponry made by the West would've ceast to exist with the arrival with the combine. Overwatch infantry primarily use AR2's. But what about just the player having access to weapons rather than NPC's?
I wonder if i put some hl2 maps in bms, will it brake? Can you make headcrab corpes be able to be thrown about like in bms?

But what about just the player having access to weapons rather than NPC's?[/QUOTE] It's pretty debatable if the SMG and pistol are actually their real life equivalents or if they just use similar designs and are otherwise totally original Combine weaponry. Either way I doubt the Combine would rely on finding stockpiled weapons on whatever planets they invade when they would have the resources to create weapons themselves, and could probably build them much more efficiently with all their quantum entanglement and slave labor.
