Have you checked Painterly recently? They have a load of new Testificate skins, unless you prefer the pigman one.
I like the pigman one because I'd prefer villagers being pigmen to start with.

I was just about to post something asking when the next update on the city was, but you beat me to it. Can't wait for the release.
My Minecraft survival house that I've been working on since around Beta 1.2, the entire thing and it's contents are all legit and built with careful planning (not to mention love) and still remain in the original Beta 1.2 world. As updates and snapshots have rolled out I've just kept updating it with all the cool new stuff - the world is huge and my latest additions include a lamp lit and iron golem guarded storage room as well as animal farm. It's still alot of fun to go back to for the nostalgia and the place definitely has alot of sentimental value to me. There are 2 secret rooms/areas, a farm, a glowstone and mossy cobblestone embedded watchtower, a moat, and a player activated drawbridge. If you're wondering how I managed to get the cats, the biomes managed to screw themselves over through updates and cats spawn in flatlands (yet I've still been unable to find wolves anywhere). I'll put the download up, I'm very welcome to criticism on my life's work. Oh and if you deem it necessary that you find the two secret rooms/areas (which you should), just have a search around the place for levers. Thankyou for your time!

A friend had me install a bunch of mods so we can do some fun building online, and one of the mods was RedPower.
Well, I got a bit bored while waiting for Anarchy Online to reinstall on our shit computer, so I decided to play around with RedPower. After a while, I decided to play around with different cobblestone generator designed. I finally settled on what I call a "4xA" design, where the "4" is the amount of cobblestone generations per tier, and "A" is the amount of tiers per generator. So for example, a "4x3" generator has 4 generations per tier, and 3 tiers - that is to say, it generations 12 cobblestone per tick.
I then decided to make a 4x4x3, also known as four 4x3 generators, and hook them up to a single chest farm.
With 48 stone generated by tick, and one tick per second, assuming double-chests are 9x6 stacks, I can fill a chest in 72 seconds. :v:

This is also hyper-effective, at only 32 blocks of non-special material (IE not water, lava, or breakers) per tier, and 10 non-special material bridging the tiers. It takes slightly less than 2 full stacks of material to build a single 4x3 generator. :v:
Though, it's not that light on using lava. I've considered adjusting it to use 1 lava x 4 water, but I haven't gotten around to trying that out yet.
Also, it's only 7x7xB, where B is (3*A - 1), where A is, again the amount of tiers on a generator.

I'm on "The Minecraft Overhaul" team. Which is the biggest Minecraft expansion anyone will ever know. Someone mentioned that Nether Villagers should just be Zombie Pigmen, I however, made this:

I prefer pigmen as villagers, although I think they should be a lot more violent towards the player than the overworld villagers, and be a lot less tolerable. Like going inside houses will result in violence, etc.

Eh... Reusing the pigmen (zombies or otherwise) for nether villagers is kind of boring and uncreative. Seeing pigmen wouldn't resemble their aggressive and defensive behavior too well like the human-minotaur model in the image above would.

I'd make the blocks less noisy and add heavier borders to the grass and stone.

I quite like that. Makes it look like an RPG from the Baldur's Gate 2 era.
The grass is a bit bright, though, and the stone makes it look a bit like you're trapped in the stomach of an inside-out fish.
Been experimenting with the pre-release jungle trees as housing, it's turning out well so far, but getting a farm onto this is gonna be a b***.
