Trying to find a really cool cave to make my farms at. Not faring too well, but I found a decent area. Not a lot of lava though (Which I was wanting, and I'm not sure if I should just go on and look for a different area or keep this one.

It's mising the doors and the inside isn't made yet, but the outside it's done.
Does any of you remember the resort I built with a swimming pool heated with 'liquid hot magma'?
I tried loading the map, got stuck at 'saving chunks' screen, load it again, it worked.
I used BetterBlocks for the resort, and thanks to the item IDs used, I got out from the building and the stairs turned into this.

I've discovered I get great joy from building game world maps on to Minecraft.
This is the world map from Zelda 1, built to scale. I even took in to account the height of areas based on the staircases present throughout the map. I plan on eroding out the blocks to make the whole world map look more natural, but I'm pretty rubbish at that, so I'll get back to it later.

The top level has a secret stairway down to the science facility. That has an abandoned tunnel leading to a prisoner 2069 disaster, which lead to a full scale rebellion by the prisoners. I have a dozen or so rebel camps hidden everywhere around or in the building.

It actually looks really simple. A bunch of generic sticky piston pushers compacted into two towers dumping mobs into a lava blade. You don't need a schmatic to make it, just play around with the origonal design with a row of pistons with pressure plates, and then combine them into a tower.

I plan to recreate the entire park but it will be about 80% accurate due to the limits of Minecraft. My only issue is that World Painter doesn't support jungle tree painting. I'd use the biome tool but it generates structures and lava pools.

I think MineEdit still does trees.

I just stand under a block, look at all the endermen, punch them, and bam XP. It takes like 5 minutes for it to max out, and I can get to level 50 every 30 minutes or so.

Can you make a video or picture tutorial? I'm not understanding how you get the Endermen up there.
Alright, I'll run it down.
In the end the only thing that spawns in endermen, LOTS OF FUCKING ENDERMEN. If you go away from the island, whatever unlit shit you have will drop tons of endermen. Obviously this is the perfect place for an endermen XP farm.
This is what the base works. The inside of the row is 8 blocks tall, and 43 blocks above the ground they will fall on.

I can't really do it block per block, but that should be a decent explanation. Just play around with that design and you can make the rings yourself.

Also; you can make the drop 44 blocks if you just want the pearls and not exp, but doing it with the exp will get you more orbs then you could ever use, so you'd be wasting the opportunity.
