As you can see by my not very helpful skin, I'm a "camper" (hiking shoes, vest, backpack). I really like my green tent, but my storage tent isn't that great. I need more space but hate destroying naturally formed landscape. Stone structures in the back right are furnaces, structure to close right is workshop. In the very back there's a small water source.
Not the most practical of shelter unless you are on peaceful...
For those who happen to be familiar with my earlier work in this thread, I have a lovely little surprise for you.

COMING SOON
(A.K.A when 1.3 comes out and Extra Big-Ass Villages gets updated.)
(Also, will not be set in the village pictured, it is for preview purposes only.)
(For those that don't know what this is, it is Brotopia, a satirical totalitarian dictatorship I made in a large village generated by the Extra Big-Ass Villages mod. In the previous thread, I would share the daily happenings of Brotopia every once in a while until I accidentally deleted the save file. The Brotopia project inspired many people in the thread to do similar projects.)
I cannot wait.

Yes, I am actually planning to have the people living close to the central government HQ live in tenements. They're not going to be as tall and nasty as the tenement I've been working on here, though, because I'm not going to use the same texture pack and in a place like Brotopia, you wouldn't want to have houses that are tall enough to allow people to see over the wall that is supposed to keep people in.

you should be careful with making them too tall without putting on barriers or else citizens might commit suicide, and we all know a dead worker is a selfish worker

FTFY.

Here are all the posters from the Brotopia texture pack. There are a couple of new posters this time, such as the Party flags (WPB-PRB=Worker's Party of Brotopia - People's Republic of Brotopia), the "reminder" posters ("You are being watched", the eye icon, "Obey" and "Glorious Leader will destroy his enemies"), the Blue Book poster (which will be placed above the chest containing the Blue Book in every home, in place of Glorious Leader's face, which will still be present in every home, just in a different spot.). And of course, the Ministry of State Security and the Departement of Glorious Science will be making a return.
I am really excited to now use the new stuff from 1.3. I'm thinking of actually writing the Blue Book, and have it distibuted to every home with enderchests. To make it even more oppressive, citizens will have to read the Blue Book at their own designated time every day, due to there only being one copy of the book. I've already textured written books to have blue covers.
Villager Spawn Eggs will also be fun to play with.

Here's the quarry. It's working pretty slowly because there's not much space to add extra power. Once it's hit bedrock I'll probably build something else in the hole.

Saw that earlier and it gave me an idea, the final thing I needed to make a Bioshock adventure map. With villagers acting as vending machines U-Invent machines, and Power to the People (put in a regular sword or bow, and the villager gives you an enchanted one, just don't do it twice, well if you want to, but it's breaking one of the map's rules), chests with emeralds and bottles of enchanting (money and ADAM) revealed after a timed battle with monsters (like the finale in Mine 4 Dead, these battles replace big daddies). Enchanting tables would replace Gather's Gardens, allowing the player to upgrade their armor (Once again, honor code on that one, nothing stopping you from enchanting weapons). Some under water domes, some submerged buildings, but it won't be a direct copy of Bioshock, that's freaking impossible, oh and, if/when this does get released, I recommend mods that nerf creeper explosions, so they don't break blocks.

Going through with it, nowhere near done. Current completed buildings are the lighthouse into the city, the starting Hub, a villager store connected to it, a hospital, skyscraper, gem mine, and currently making a bank, if you find extra keys (switches) you can open vaults to win emeralds, weapons, armour, ADAM (bottles of enchanting) or a selection of other things.

Made by a friend of mine as I sat back and cried.
Been working on a recreation of Raccoon City using a city map layout obtained from Project Umbrella. I had already been working on the RPD so it kinda fit, and I had no idea where to start on the city itself. Heres a cartographer view to show what I've done so far, but know that some of the blocks don't show because mcmap doesn't know how to render them. Such as RP2's marble and Kaevator's super slopes, which are both required for the map to work right.

Edit: Fixed. I hope... Fixed.
Edit 2 and final(?): If anyone wants, I can put up a download for the map. It's fairly large size wise and requires certain mods, I can include a text file with whats needed and in order along with the configs so theres no conflicts.

That's an almost exact copy of a design I made a week after the nether update. The difference was mine has a glass walkway through the center to get to the portal room. I only stopped because I had no ground deep enough to hold the HUGE pit.

To be fair, should make it out of sandstone and gold. Aztec structures tend to be very bright and white coloured, rather than grey or stone coloured. Also, make it bigger. Rather than a 1x1x# staircase on the side, increase the length and height of each stair drop so it appears bigger. I'd also go ahead and suggest some work with adding details. Pillars, statuettes, things along that nature. At this point, it looks awfully barren and plain and, to be honest, really boring.
I made a little tudor for my snapshot world.

Just like Yahtzee eh? Sodding classy.
For a community i decided to one up everything and make a decent site along with it seeing how many people go cheap by using their forums for the site, or worse... Enjin.
So i finished the store.php and item.php file today which basically will be used for buycraft services we offer. But not stupid things like 900 diamonds for 1$.
This is the store.php whats left to do is the category system but input is welcome:
[t]http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/1703/screenshot427.png[/t]

And items.php (Still need to do some touch ups so it looks nicer):
