Also, to make it look more ornamental, you could put one fence piece on the side of the walls and put the torch on top of it. Makes it look like a torch holder.

Man, everybody's shit is so grand that my tiny church pales in comparison. I made it tiny intentionally, however- I've made large cathedrals before but I think I prefer the atmosphere of a tiny church. It seems more inviting of a structure.

So I need tips on Enchanting. I figured out what I'd do with that big room in my Nether Castle, but it requires grass blocks. Naturally, grass does not grow in the Nether because you're essentially in Hell, so I need the Silk Touch enchantment so I can place grass in my castle.
Thing is, enchanting has always been confusing as fuck for me. I know that cryptic language in the enchanting meny has no relevance at all to what enchantment you pick, but I don't understand how to get the enchantments I want?
Is it all random luck?

While I'm here, can anyone link me to a mod that increases the height limit for building? After I'm done my Nether fortress, I'm going to be building something...tall...but every mod I've found either sucks, includes other crap I on't want, or isn't compatible with the current version of Minecraft.
