Making a thing. Like, a castle with loads of stuff in it, like guard barracks at the bottom, a library on the top right, a church-y thing on the left, and some other stuff.

My Obsidian spaceship, done in creative This is only the rough draft. The final version will be done on a survival server, be significantly longer, and courtesy of a plugin, have a city on its back. PS: first post since being un-permabanned.
the fuck is going on down on the ground
Seems to be glow stone blocks.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/p9rF4.jpg[/t] My little tekkit town I'm building. Bit out of date, that rubber tree has been replaced by a nice little fountain.

Its pretty cool, that's what
BEWARE OF THE MOUNTAIN TROLL STEVE! .. is what old papa Steve told little Steve junior when he was just a wee lad. "watch out where you set your shovel! or you'll awake the troll of the mountain and he will not be happy with you!" Now those are some pieces of fairytales that Steve to this day still remembers, but shrugs off as nothing but fairytales. That is, until today. when he decided to dig straight down, starting from the top of a small mountain. In doing so he unknowingly awake a thousand year old mountain troll who had been sleeping for so long that his body had been buried by the elements. The troll is very angry with this and, upon noticing that Steves house still resides ontop of his back, he tears off the top of a nearby tree with which he intends to swoop this stupid little wooden box off, along with it's inhabitants. Will Steve get out in time? how the hell would i know? i only made this statue into one frame! The troll itself is based upon old scandinavian folklore and fairytales which i myself have listened to when i was young. It's specifically based upon the way that John Bauer depicts trolls in his many paintings of scandinavian folklore. I've built this with the TerraFirmacraft mod installed so that's what provided me with the many different kinds of planks and stone that the troll is made off, the huge sequia wood around the troll is also from terrafirmacraft. an enourmous troll fits that forest just brilliantly! There's still work to be done. i intend to give this guy some long black hair and other small details. Also, if you look behind the trolls cape you can see huge indents where he put his giant feets. beyond that lies a felled tree that came crashing down when the furious troll emerged from the ground. further to the left but outside of view is a huge hole in the ground. maybe i'll add some more images. I kinda wanted to go full on folklore with this and have a majority of images taken at night. you know.. since the troll will turn to stone in sunlight.. but those pictures where just too dark so.. eh..
I made this bridge in survival: [IMG_thumb]http://puu.sh/1imPy[/IMG_thumb] [IMG_thumb]http://puu.sh/1imO8[/IMG_thumb] [IMG_thumb]http://puu.sh/1imPH[/IMG_thumb]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/MgCKJ.png[/t] Small residential area of a large city of stone. This specific tenant can hold twelve occupants in 3x3 rooms. An affordable experience for the poor, the bachelor, or the graduate with a degree in medieval history.

I might try and recreate some Dutch folklore, except the villagers will be the victims.
Working on a Marina area for my big city, the newest tower getting some cladding!
Currently making this in creative.
Anyone have any creatively made bridges? Not giant ones that extend across the ocean, small ones that would go over a small river or ravine. My bridges are kind of bland and only use plank blocks and a few stairs. I'd like to have more flavor, but anywhere I add extra blocks makes it look dumb. Just trying to find some inspiration here.
Heres some more pictures of the project I'm working on.
What texture pack is that ^?
What texture pack is that ^?
Looks like one of the Dokucraft derivatives, one of the light ones, not dark or normal.

Hasn't been updated to 1.4 yet, sadly.
On a friend's server where he has RedPower, IndustrialCraft, BuildCraft, Forestry, etc. installed, I was tasked with making an automated ore processing "module" using a combination of Factorization and RedPower. This is the result (not entirely finished) 1) Ore enters though this filter from the main ore transfer pipeline. This particular module processes silver/lead. 2) From there the ore is sent into Factorization Grinders, where upon completing the grinding some RP2 Managers pull the gravel out and send it to the next step. 3) The gravel is then sent to Mixers with Regulators attached to ensure plenty of water is provided for smooth operation (not pictured: timer-less automatic bucket filling device under platform) 4) Clean gravel is sent to the Slag Furnace here, with 4 heaters attached for quick smelting. Again a Manager is used to pull the resulting material out. 5) For now, Sludge is kept in this chest until a Sludge-Clay conversion module is built (possibly added onto this current module). 6) From the Slag Furnace, the Reduced Chunks of Lead and SIlver are sent to Crystallizers for the last stage of processing. At this point average ore yields are about 300%. Hot-damn! 7) A Retriever is connected to one of the Mixer's Regulators to receive a redstone pulse on occasion, causing it to pull out the finished Lead and Silver crystals. An Item Detector placed after the Retriever sends an additional pulse with each passing crystal to ensure all the currently grown crystals are collected. In the future, a Light Sensor will be combined with the output of the Regulator through an XOR gate so that crystals may be pulled in the event that no new ores are being ground up, which means no more pulses from the Regulator. (a pulse a day is all it will need to get started) 8) Crystals are stored here for now until a smelting module is made.

Just installed Tekkit for the first time. I feel like I'm getting in over my head
