I'm never doing a beta test for an FPS again. The bugs and sutff I can deal with, but the community... oh Dear God, they make Runescape look like a bunch of Nobel laureates. This level of stupid can really take a lot out of a mans soul

Played the closed PS3 beta today. Pretty damn stunningly average. Not sure I've ever felt so bored playing a shooter.

I think this game is more of a refinement than a revolution. It doesn't bring much new to the table, but it does do things better than COD and BF games. The best thing about it atm is the fact that there isn't anything cheap, where as in MW2 you have Nade launchers etc, and in BC2 you have the Carl Gustav.
Will definitely be getting it at launch.

I did both, and they are equally shitty.
Explosives need to be amped up a little.
I'm not looking for MW2 style 'noob tubing' as they call it, but I would like to see some more power by hand grenades and the launchers. Right now they are a joke. People can take direct explosions from both at their feet and if they have not previously been hit by something - they usually always survive.
Kind of ruins it to toss a nade in a bunker full of people and have it harm absolutely no one.
