also i got all the way to the cruise missile, it's the last thing, after you get that you just get 2x score for everything you do till you die
the cruise missile is fucking awesome by the way, you select your target like the predator missile and then guide it in and it makes a huge ass fucking boom, i eliminated like the entire enemy team with it

Oh my lord the crashing to the desktop in the middle of the match is so goddamn annoying
This game/beta seriously sucks. There's so many little annoyances that ruin the whole experience.
First off, the menus are absolutely garbage. For some reason the game decided to let me use a 60hz first time I booted up the game, but after acouple minutes trying to figure out how to change the resolution (You have to select the resolution option, then hit "Edit" on the bottom) it only gives me 59hz choices now.
The control menu is a pain. The game decided it wouldn't let me crouch, until I figured out that I had to un-check the "Toggle Crouch" in the options menu.
Want to chat in the game to other players? Too bad. I hit the chat button, it brings up the chat box, then it just locks everything except my mouse. I cannot move, type, or even quit. I am only able to look around and fire (no reloading), until someone comes and shoots me.
Want to get to the options menu? Too bad. You have to respawn. Get killed while your hiding somewhere trying to adjust options? Redo everything all over again. Why in the world they don't just let you hit escape and adjust options and controls at anytime boggles my mind.
I understand this is a beta, but the initial impressions from the game are not good.

I understand it's a beta, but to not have the simplest of devices working for your game (such as the menu) is a pain. Crashing to desktop is also disappointing.

Don't forget it's also a very early beta, game doesn't even release until October and the BC2 beta was also pretty shitty but they fixed it up and it's like playing the full game wasn't even the same game.
so is this still working? it gave me a key on the MoH site and i'm downloading it but am I going to be able to play it?

Yeah so apparently the PS3 version crashes/freezes whenever you get a killstreak on the terrorist side, happened to me twice already.

After entering my C&C code on the MoH site it gave me a different code under "your code" or whatever. I then proceeded to use THAT code on a different EA account to sign up for the ps3 beta. You might try using that code to re-sign up for the PC beta, don't know if it would work.

On PC you're supposed to get a code prompt after signing in, it just tells me that I'm not a bad company 2 VIP. Awesome.

Alright, I got mine working. After submitting the your C&C code on the MoH site, you get a new code at the top of that page. I used that code and another EA account to sign up for the PS3 beta, and the account that I used for that is able to log into the PC beta. :iiam:
edit: it doesn't work on my ps3 though...
and I can't get the game above 1024x768

The PS3 trick worked for me too!
Playing now on the Helmand map... and it's really like BC2... and glitchy.
I can barely hear anything at all. Is this normal? I have to turn everything all the way up to get the sound to do anything. It's just like Prototype. :crying:

Although, my first impressions:
If someone told DICE, "We need you to remake Modern Warfare 1, almost down to the point." this is what we would get. Come to think of it, that's probably exactly what happened.
If this game has any hope of being good this better be a REALLY early version.
Even with decent physics this would suck.
I made 4 accounts (2 for each, totalling 8) and none of them worked, rage time.
