Well...Not quite.
The blue flag doesn't come up so when MCP updates, i'll take a look in the classes.
So, I installed the kz.png that ChrisDom posted and for the life of me the blue painting won't show up, I even spawned 500 different paintings.
I don't really like the shadows, and there's a transparent corner on the red flag which is annoying the hell out of me :j:

Right, these are a few ( a lot ) of ideas that I have had that could help to improve the server and it will all give the person making all the mods a Nightmare. This was done in a rush as I need to go so ignore all the bad English please.
I know this is a RP server and all but do we have to be loyal to our kingdoms kings? This is not that i want to go out and raid and pillage the towns of the red Kingdom, I just want to start a hidden underground farming society from which I can trade wood and bread to the people of the Red Kingdom. Also I know that producing a giant amount of wood for the Red Kingdom will disrupt the idea of the server so I will try to keep the amount I trade to a minimum.
Just making sure that this idea is allowed as I believe that this could open up a new avenue of the RP with people who are discontented with the king of the kingdom with could open up some politics with smart players gathering a band of followers that could raid towns and castles destroying a few homes and such and if the kingdoms king cannot track down the rebels they could one day push the king off the throne of the kingdom and make the kingdom their own.
We could also make this open up the possibility of guilds and such who have no alliance to one kingdom or another but performing acts for all kingdoms equally such as building roads.
Now I know that this could open up the idea for some that grefing is allowed and that you can blow up anything you feel like just for shits and giggles, but if we have a coder like you are looking for at the moment we could have him/her make a mod with like somebody suggested earlier with auto builds a building if a certain configuration of materials are put in a chest but this time making a NPC with is equip with armour and arms to fight of any person that is of entered into a list of names. For instance if Bob Bob was to walk into a town and destroy a building and somebody finds out Bob is entered into this list and if one of these NPC see him they will attack. This would make it into a case where if you destroy a building as you have decided to become a rebel you will have two options, the first it that you will need to hide out in the wild away from other people as this list of people will be available for all people in a kingdom to see and thus are likely to kill you on sight and maybe be able to claim a reward as it could be made that if somebody on this list on death drops a “Head of a traitor!” type thing.
The other path this person could go down is repent and thus be entered into a list of people classed as repeaters and these people will not drop the “Head of a traitor” item but they don’t have the ability of normal members of a kingdom have (more on this later). And with this the repeater will only do this if they wish to get back to the list of normal people they will have to be judged by a Judge with will be a unique role in a kingdom that is able to dispense punishment onto people they deem unworthy or worthy if it’s a good thing so if the repeater is doing a lot of work for the kingdom the judge may make them part of the kingdom again. This also opens up a new idea for the rebels as if they where to corrupt the Judge and get him on their side they would have a huge advantage over the kingdom as long as he remains Judge.
Now back to the idea of NPC and abilities in a kingdom. I suggest a type of cast system, one in which people start as a normal person living in the kingdom with a few standard abilities that you guys will have to think of, as you do work for the kingdom such as collecting materials and helping to build towns and such the Judge will promote you to a new rank with new abilities. This would all be standard till a point in which the only roles above are things like the King, General and the sub general, Judge and what ever else would be good
And like I said back onto the Npcs. At the moment with this project we have a world in which when war is started between two kingdoms the players will go to battle if the feel like it and most I think will not for risk of losing all there stuff or the stuff provided by the kingdom, and as a result the war will not be a true war and if the people do go fight and attack a town they will likely just destroy it and leave a permanent scar on the land( more on this in a mo).Now to avoid this we could make it so that the Npc that I talked about before could be commanded to a degree by the General of the Kingdom, this person can order the troops of a kingdom or a town to leave a few behind but get most of them to march on a town at which they will march on a town and attack the people in the town in a different Kingdom and if the attack is a success and they capture the town hall say they take control of the town and the benefits that come with this. But say a castle is annoying and has been attacked before not captured as it’s in a location that make it much stronger then if should be the General may made the decide to destroy the castle preventing the other kingdoms General moving the army with in the castle out to kill your army.
I have more ideas but I have to go soon and please have a look at these ideas and consider them as these are the things the I believe could turn what already looks like a badass server into a server that could be one of the greatest RP servers going.

Until we can extend the class that defines paintings and how they work, I had to split the green flag into 2 small paintings.
Also, because minecraft doesn't like to have semi-transparent colors, I used a light grey to shade.
The green flag is giving me some problems because there is basically no space between the strings at the bottom. I can't shade it with 1-2 pixel space.

-I see what you mean with shared areas, but I feel like people will need their own space otherwise it gets boring and people move about, I would rather see people settle down in a city with just one personalised house.
-Steel doors would look much better, as long as the map has more iron deposits to make it feasible.
-It's just a randomly generated map with the grass replaced with stone and the water replaced with lava :v:

Red will be up to their necks in iron, it's gunna be awesome because enemy armies will jus thav ethis ragtag armor, bits of steel, leather etc, while the red army will just march in with full plate looking like motherfucking badasses.
