If there is a skin switch thing available, I'm feeling something like this for the red axe.

If not, its still cool.
Im certain there is. The Steampunk texture pack uses a chainsaw for the diamond axe.
I meant for different nations but yeah.
Didn't read the whole thread, so sorry if this is late. The desert should be re-randomized and made a crossroads for the three nations. IE you'd have to cross the central desert to go to the other maps.
You could have great roads crisscrossing the dunes, maybe one or two small warlords or groups of raiders.
I don't think that the Reds would pick an ominous sounding anthem, it should be more suited to a militaristic nation, therefore it should sound like a military march. Again, probably due to my love of Prussia, here is an example.

It really reminds me of the Spanish and French combined.
...
In a negative way

Ok, disregard Green anthem, here's a blue song:

What'd you guys think? What can we use this for!
Ok, disregard Green anthem, here's Blue Anthem which is miles better!

definitely no
Thinking it'd be something more like this;
definitely no
Ok, for example, why? Just so we can all improve you know, rather than give a short answer.
Those both sound...interesting, but honestly, they feel a bit too upbeat for a nation born completely of lava and stone.
How about something a bit heavier?

Sounds like a song that would be played on a trailer to entering the Blue nation.
Ok, for example, why? Just so we can all improve you know, rather than give a short answer.
Because that sounds nothing like an actual anthem.
My question is if we take these songs from actual real life, is that like abusing some copyright policy? Just want to know.

doesnt sound like an anthem at all
doesnt fit anything
parts of the song don't fit eachother
sounds like it was made on a £10 keyboard
Because that sounds nothing like an actual anthem.
Ok, but I do think it would for something to do with the blue nation.

Thank you. I did use homemade speakers. Umm ok. Also the fact that its not mastered, made using shitty software, and terrible hardware is definitely not a plus. Yes my keyboard sucks. Though in no offence to you in anyway, I disagree with your point on certain parts of the song not fitting together, its probably because your using shitty speakers. And to be fair, there's no way an anthem should sound. If you've heard Azeri anthem, its a lot different then what you'd expect.
it sounds like runescape for the most part

Well, the Soviet music is just an example. None of the post- Industrial themes seem to fit the hard-lined, "WORK FOR MOTHER RED" theme you have going.
I'd rather we create our own music, whether we use presets available to create a finalé piece of work or completely from scratch.
I'd rather we create our own music, whether we use presets available to create a finalé piece of work or completely from scratch.
Alright, but I'm pretty sure that we can use all of the old Soviet music as a basis as long as we don't use anyone's prerecorded material.
Yeah I think we're posting what it'd sound like, not the final song
In the case that we're composing it outside of someone else's recording (original material), how do we expect to implement it in-game?
Anyway, can anyone confirm if mods work in SMP? I would love to see Mo's Creatures mod in NationCraft.
This looks great.
So any chance for scattered desert tribes? I'll just go green if there's no chance for the desert rebellions.

Desert? Are you talking about the old Red landscape?
2 pages of new posts, all discussing anthems.
Why.
When will we use them.

There are 3 factions you cannot be neutral stop asking.
Well what else do we discuss. At least we're actually providing rare content types. Or at least I am.
