Because I love the idea that I used in my Blue nation walls about archer defence to allow the archer to move to diffrent hights or take cover with ease I have used a small version of it here.

That could be pretty awesome to have hidden escape routes in case of emergencies in certain buildings in the city.
Shit will be just like Oblivion. Except there aren't rats everywhere.
Any indication of how military action and/or subterfuge will work? Will player commanders be able to spontaneously declare war on another nation? Will nations have a secret spy operation hidden somewhere? That kind of thing.

Like I said in that post the Blue nation in the RP are looking like they will be the sneaky ones thus I desided that they would not have a building as valuble to them as a forge ( they don't have much iron so it would do to protect a place where the small amount of iron they have could be forged) open for the world to see. Thus I had the idea to hide the forge above a small maze of books under the cover of a Library and I think it inkeeps with the RP much better then just slapping it in a city.

I'd recommend a design where the forge is hidden underground, with the smoke being vented through a small stack in the ground.

I may give this idea a good as it sounds good. The main reason that I did the whole forge above the Library was for the reasons before and because an escape path was easy to do with this but I'm sure I can make one that works just as well underground.
Edit: Edvinas just do what I do, try to make designs for buildings even if they are likely to be ignored it feels like you're helping!
Looking amazing still, Loving the skins even though I don't support the idea of preset/strict skins being used. I do think the town halls need to be much bigger though, even if I don't yet know all the future plans for the nations.
I don't think many of you are taking into account that logs can be crafted into [B]four[/B] wooden planks. I'm sure that, along with myself, many of us would not want to sacrifice three extra wooden planks to have a prettier fort or home or town hall.

The only criteria for having your own skin is that it's easily identified as belonging to its nation, and that it fits with the basic theme. The best way to make it easily identifiable as one of the nations is to make sure the appropriate nation colour is clearly visible on the arms, since armor may cover everything else. It's also a good idea to avoid using colours from other factions for obvious reasons.
These colour palettes should help if you want to make a skin that fits well.

I assume it is meant that each faction will have a short, non-vocal song that features the defining personalities of the home nation.

Custom sounds get overwritten when you launch minecraft. Everyone would need to download Sound Mod Loader for them to work.
There might be a way to play customs sounds serverside, though.
