This topic originally inspired me to email Gabe with some questions I had forever in the back of my head. ..but, on reflection, maybe that wasn't a good idea. Now my email is piled up with the rest of the spam, it would seem.

I have reasons to believe that email is fake, mainly because the font from Gabe's supposed email doesn't match the question shown below it. Although it could be real, in that case: good going, hope that stupid shit you sent him made you giggle

By the way ... the [email]gaben[at]valvesofware.com[/email] is mentioned in the end of LOST COAST in one of the chat bubbles. He pretty much says: "I can be reached at [email]gaben[at]valvesoftware.com[/email] blah blah blaa". So I do not see any problem sending mail to that address, because he propably has mailbox for "official" stuff or it just directs the mails send to that address to ... some "ideabox"
