The only Valve person I've emailed recently was Mike Morasky. Typically just audio related questions and shit, assisting me to pursue my career.. Hell, he even let me call him up and we did a little mini interview thing. Of course, I can't say anything about what we talked about, but I got a ton of cool info and he's an awesome guy. Him and his buddy Noah Landis taught me everything I now know about microphones <3 Gabe and Chet never respond to my emails anymore. I think they put me on the spam list after I asked them to buy some chocolate online for a fundraiser my school was doing.

Just sent a letter to Valve. A physical letter. Whoever opens the mail is going to be $2 richer this holiday season.

Been reading through the thread and this is disgusting. You all just want stuff, and keep bothering the guys at Valve with dumbass questions just to get replies and post it in this thread. I mean sometimes it's cool, and if it's a good question. But the way some of you guys beg for stuff, you're just exploiting them :/

[/QUOTE] To be honest I also think that's excessive exploiting in a way and must get very bothersome for the guys over at Valve after a while. Like everything, it's cool if it's in moderation, but imagine getting several items a day that you gotta sign and send, as well answering a whole bunch of stupid questions and giving items to a bunch of people begging for them, just because you felt "hey maybe we can be that nice company that actually speaks to and shows appreciation for our gamer base".

I think the main this that annoys me is you didn't even wait for them to say "Sure here you go, what is your address?". If I was you I'd email her back apologise for your actions. Alyssa is fairly new and your kinda sending her the message Facepunch are just a bunch of leaches. Not only have you made yourself look like a terrible person you're setting everyone's reputation as a bad one for her. In the end, I sent them a sheet of paper with the Valve logo printed in the center, and asked them to sign back (In a nice long letter!). I received back the page a while later, along with a letter from Valve. I then sent that back for the rest to sign, since I liked the design on the back. I feel having a bunch of people sign the print would obscure the art, but if that's what you want. Pics for anyone who might want to see.
