I had an awesome conversation with Robin Walker recently. I sent him images of my Tf2 mirrors and my Invader zim mirrors and asked if valve would like one hand made and sent to them. (you can see most of my mirrors here: [url]http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=943866[/url] *I love comments*) -email removed due to reasons- I still plan on making them a Gordon Freeman Valve mirror and sending it to them late august. But still free swag!

awesome thread, took me like an hour to read it but it was worth it!

Sent Robin an email off about the Trading Cards. Seems like the only way you were able to get them was from the fan kits, now their sold out. Hopefully he replies and answers whether we can get the cards another way

I emailed Gabe N. about Portal 2`s system requirements and source optimization, and he replied that they were currently the same as Left 4 Dead 2`s requirements, also he said that they would keep it very well optimized. :holy:

I sent an email, lost it somewhere tho. Basically robin told me they'd add a function like tf2items.com in steam community and trading wouldn't be done ingame, it'd be on steam. Also I read somewhere else that the reason trading is taking a while is because it's the guys working on steam's job and they're a busy and really small team.

Once when I was really mad at Left 4 Dead 2's announcement; I voiced my dislike of the direction the franchise was taking, as well as threatening to never purchase the game (you can rate me boxes) unless something changed. Chet replied. [quote]L4D2's retail box will be filled with candy?[/quote]

then shouldn't it be staying offline for a period of time instead of unsteady connection... well its off quiet long right now.. maybe maintenance commenced?
