No I just asked for an autograph, that's it.

You could've sent them a box with the game if you wanted an autograph, that's what I did, at least.

Why are you always like this when I get lucky?

No matter what happens I will always love valve.
Scrolling down quickly, I thought that was some kind of giant barrel with a Valve logo printed on it.
Turns out it was something even MORE bad ass.
Oh god mailman please come today, please oh please, dear god.
Still haven't got my stuff back. This week isn't over yet though!
Just got my autographs. A L4D2 poster with loads of them :D
Quick Question:
I asked Valve if they could send anything for my Valve obssessed friend for his birthday. I was wondering do I have to pay for shipping, just so that I can pay whatever costs his present will be before he gets it?
One's Dario Casali. He's a level designer, and made Gold Rush.
Obviously you can see Robin Walker.
You've also got Tom Bui there.

No idea about the rest.
Wow, Dario signed your Half-Life? You lucky son of a bitch. I love his Half-Life maps.
If I kindly ask for a shirt or something, would they send one?
If so, how do I go about writing it?

Buy the shirt you greedy bastard.
I think Valve didn't sent an autograph that I asked a long time ago because of stupid Canada Post. :argh: But it's okay though.
Oh my god yes.
If you remember I sent my Portal 2 game informer to Dave Kircher a while back, about 3 days ago I got 2 emails, one from him saying it's shipped and the other from UPS with tracking info.
Checking now I see that it's EXPECTED TOMORROW OH GOD OH YES OH GOD
Buy the shirt you greedy bastard.
What, so other people can ask for posters and mousepads and stuff, but I cannot ask for a t-shirt?
What, so other people can ask for posters and mousepads and stuff, but I cannot ask for a t-shirt?
We ask for autographs or birthday presents, not just "hey gimmie a shirt/mousepad/poster plox"
I sent a real nice thank you email to Robin last night, and I got a response this morning:
Thanks for all the kind words, Andrew. It's feedback like this that makes it really easy for us all to keep working on our 4 year old game.
Robin.

Robin, you and the TF2 team have done it again.
The Medic is my favorite class in the game (and I believe I do best with him), and Meet the Medic... gosh, it's hard to find words.
It was fantastic, truely the best yet of the Meet the Team videos (Meet the Pyro going to have to do alot to top it). When he goes out there using the Uber Update's new Medigun.... it was the most awesome demonstration of what god-defying powers the Medic actually has through science (why hasn't Aperture Science Innovators recruited him yet?! :P). Best TF2 moment ever.
The Uber Update deserves props too. It looks like a fantastic set of new toys for the classes. And the free-to-play aspect, that's even cooler! Me and all my current Steam friend already have the game, but this will definately be helpful for getting more people I know to play.
Right now, as I write this, I see some fan forums are aghast that this will leave griefers, hackers, and idlers in better opprotunity now to do their thing. But really, I don't think they're worth major concern. And the fact there is indeed a preminum/free account system (only seperated by one Mann. Co purchase) isn't as big a deal compared to other online games, I think.
Heck, the fact free players don't get hats should be a godsend for the people who'd rather be Poor & Irish and have no hats! Why they think that, I dunno, but they have their way now, in a sense.
Also, while it would've been neat to get a refund of some sort for Mann. Co Store spending for those who already bought the game, the hat you're giving us is reward enough. After all, what's more important than having a nice hat?
In all seriousness though, I think the updates of this week is a good one for the continually changing future for Team Fortress 2. Once again, I thank you and the rest of the guys behind this game for a very big, very fun-sounding update, and most importantly, the most amazing promo video you've made for this game yet. Perhaps I will be buying a Team Captain from the store very soon.
Sincerly:
Andrew (AKA Drewsko on Steam, AKA the guy in the middle on TF2: http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/560912345902392213/4F21D5E5E3C54BAA7F2F1CC8386920DC7D7FAF60/)
What's the email of Robin? I'm curious and I can't find it.
We ask for autographs or birthday presents, not just "hey gimmie a shirt/mousepad/poster plox"
I did ask for an autograph.
I did ask for an autograph.
On something that costs more than the cheapy piece of paper ours are one that we were willing to pay for.
I would have payed for it. I have no means of purchasing online products.
Wow, Dario signed your Half-Life? You lucky son of a bitch. I love his Half-Life maps.
I love his Doom II megawads (Plutonia and Evilution)
are we allowed to send Valve e-mails and say "hey my birthday is (date here) and I'd like a signed (cheapo item here). Please could I" yaddy yadda.
I emailed Gabe asking for a signed print of something.
I got a Saxton Hale comic cover print. Signed simply :Gabe:
Maybe I should ask for more? Cause I found another frame I could use.
Maybe I should ask for more?
No.
No.
When you guys ask for autographs for your birthday, do you send your own mousepad/gamebox/poster or do they just give them to you?
