When I looked at the trailer I simply did not believe that it was rendered in-engine. I was reminded of this today and sent him a mail. The trailer looks way better than any other Valve trailer/Meet The xxx that I've ever seen. I really don't get what the problem is here. It's not like it says "Made with Source Filmmaker" at the end.
EDIT: It also serves as a compliment towards Valve mentioning how unbelievable it looks. Nothing wrong with that.
