Finally! After all of these years I finally got a message back from Valve!
I simply asked Marc Laidlaw what the development of Half-Life 1 was like.
What I got back:

Do you send your stuff to valve and they give you back autographed, or they just send autographed stuffs to you?

Either or works really. Just talk to Gabe or Alison (Alison is generally faster) via email and ask either if you can send them something to autograph or if they could send you an autograph.

I e-mailed Gabe a few weeks back to ask if there was a way to get Valve games into College, because we do a Computer Games Morality thing every so often, and they won't let us use Steam, at least not with all the random crap on it.
