Waiting for my signed snack bar item...
I hope they didn't forget about me. :v:
I'll give them another 3 months.
A couple of conversations I had with Mike Morasky.

I just want to point out something that impressed me about Mike's replies to you. He said:
"I ended up using a simple version for the video and I had forgotten I had that longer more complex version until I heard you were visiting and that you were a big TF2 fan. I then went and dug it out.. edited it a little bit and voila, there you go."
That's just plain awesome that he'd do that for just one fan. Total Respect!

The food is gonna be stale by the time it gets to you...
So... I sent a mail to Valve. 19 hours later: An answer. ^^
(There's some spoilers in this mail!)

This made my day.

I don't plan on eating it! :v:
Check the mail today. Sees package with my name on it.
Instant orgasm.
I got an awesome Portal Battlemat (giant gaming mousepad) with their signatures! It's got the wall mural of the "Angel took the cube away." on it. =D
Funny thing is, I've actually needed a mouse pad for a while. Thanks Joel and Valve!
[editline]7th January 2012[/editline]
Joel just identified two of the Signatures, I could identify most, including his. The two of them he identified are Gabe (EEEEEEEEEE) and Christina Engel. :D

I'll try to, but I don't have a scanner or camera. I'll try and get a scanner though.

Subject: [Contact Form] Valve's Stance on SOPA and PIPA
Dear Mr. Newell
As I am sure you may know, the United States Congress is to debate the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and Protect IP Act (PIPA) on January 24th, 2012.
Most of the entertainment industry has supported these bills, including numerous large games companies, and we know Valve has experienced piracy of their content before, but given Gabe’s recent statements about online piracy in video games it leads to a sense of uncertainty as to the company’s official position.
Does Valve support SOPA and PIPA?
Sincerely
-A Concerned Citizen

Nope.

So that's a relief.
I love how he replies with one word and a fullstop.

I was half expecting "nope.avi"
So how many emails do you think they reply to out of the tons they get? I have a slight concern I'd like to ask someone about but I'm unsure of how to get my foot in the door with all the other people trying at the same time.
I'd say roughly 1/50 that get past the spam/retard filter.
not my email but for people wondering about valve's stance on sopa

That's not good... My "concern" must sound really dumb to anyone other than me as well, so I don't have high hopes now.

Who you email depends on your concern. If it's music, for example, Mike Morasky is your best bet. If it's Half-Life, Marc Laidlaw. And if it's knives...
It's TF2 related.
My guess would be to email Robin Walker.
It's been, like, 8 months now. No response from anyone at Valve, that's it. My games are gone. I've emailed Gabe several times, why would Valve do this to me? After what a big fan I've been, all the good things I've said, all their games I've purchased... why would they just keep them and ignore me?
Feels terrible, man.

Have you emailed the Front Desk?
Hope you get them back.

I know that feel bro. I waited several months before FrontDesk@Valvesoftware.com emailed me and said "Well, I just sent your posters."

I've tried that in the past with no luck.

Try again. I'd imagine he gets a number of emails so he might have missed yours.

I don't get it did you get disabled or something?
Alright, steam support has forsaken me I'm just hoping Robin will respond.
Try the contact form on valvesoftware.com and select "front desk"
On the contact valve page, there's a "tf team" option. Think that would be worth a try?
