There is a physical plastic card type thing for Dota 2 Beta passes, I imagine it would be the same for CS:GO. I think they are made to hand out at events, much simpler than getting someone's email right?

Man Valve is fucking awesome, I might be exaggerating but EA, Activision and such never did something like this for their fans. I'm not being a cocksucker here but they're pretty amazing. Not only loyal to their fans, but they also make good games. From experience and reading what others say about it: Usually within a few hours, or not at all.
