To be honest.None.I only had and still having fun with half-life 1 mods.
Zombie Master. Still play ZM pretty regularly. It's still a pretty alive mod with atleast 10 servers and about 30 people online at all(most) times.
At the risk of bumping this, I would like to say that Dear Esther was virtual poetry.
Research and Development. Brilliantly made, and quite fun to play.
Zombie Master, for a nice RTS like experience. [editline]07:51PM[/editline] Someone link me to R&D/Dear Esther.
Research and Development It was almost as good as portal. Also, Obsidian Conflict for co-op Blind Monk's society for most original. (It's a mod where you're a blind guy. Bring a surround sound system or some decent headphones.) Fistfull of Frags for good western styled shootouts Decay for something short, sweet, and well made.
Grrrr... I can't get dayhard to work, I keep getting a menu saying: Platform Error: module failed to initialize. By the way, Dear Esther is by The Chinese Room and can be found at: www.thechineseroom.co.uk
SMOD. I'm playing through again on the hardest settings (for HL2 and SMOD) and it's great.
You should try it, best mod I've played.
Okay, I played it through. It falls within the category of "worst mods I've played". The maps were certainly pretty, realistic, atmospheric and detailed, but the gameplay was some of the worst I've ever encountered. If you go somewhere you are not supposed to, you are blocked by an invisible wall or die without any visual explanation. Some things that you must do to solve a puzzle, later don't work at all. Portal Prelude which is also blindly defended a lot like this has a bit of the same problem. It seems like people judge mods only by screenshots or trailers.
Garrys mod, then smod or jailbreak.
Dystopia
