Mmm Steam started to decrypt my files before the download was finished and made 3GB's disapear. Good luck to the rest of you getting it to run by the looks of things.

None of my friends are having problems except for 1.
Possibly related to the Steam servers?

Stayed up to 6:40 to get a bunch of errors and no fixes, brilliant...
Just bought the game on Steam.
1 day and 8 hours to download! Woo!
Now after reading what a lot of people are experiencing...I'm scared.
fuck it, I just deleted it and started re-downloading.
I'm thinking the issue may have to do the decryption so re-downloading will give me the decrypted files right away.
Don't worry, all Steam game launches are disasterous, but they get fixed within a week, usually even faster.

Verifying game cache files will fix any error with your files.

I tried that already.
And sometimes verifying doesn't help.
I'm loving the multiplayer (level 5), only the "sluggish movement" is in the singleplayer, and isn't really that much of a problem once you get used to it.

It's not stuck, it's working.
Started preloading, game is released at 98% of preload, decides it's time to start decrypting, steam decrypts breaking the entire game, full download required.
Ah well, thought I'd might as well post my complaints here and join the bandwagon of angry responses.
I don't have enough money until thursday to get this for pc
and then I have school exams...
good thing i've already finished it on the ps3, you guys are in for a great time. It's a bit different so I expect we'll be hearing more of people complaining about how it "isn't max payne", but just take it for what it is, it's still max payne and it's still good, just don't expect it to be exactly like the first two (Even they weren't exactly alike, really)

Yeah I guess ~30 gigs of files is a lot to decrypt.
Stayed up to 7AM for this, ran into 4 different errors, no help on SF and basic help on R* Support, nothing worked, jesus christ this is fucking annoying, packing it in for tonight, hopefully they actually fix this shit soon
