There are separate playlist for Free aim and Soft lock. Just play in the free aim playlist.
Apparently the only way a lot of people are able to play the steam version is to remove the spaces from the game folders (maxpayne3 instead of "max payne 3") and install a crack.
I'm not going to do that how ever, I rather wait for an official fix.

That's the thing though, overtime when the players start to settle... they might all stick to soft lock instead of free aim. They really need to remove that option.

The game crashed in a weird fashion after killing the first few enemies and going to an elevator.
The screen turned pink-ish, sounds continued for a while, then crash, ctrl-alt-del to quit MP3. New try.
Not sure if anyone said it yet but TV shows are back. Fully animated too.
Oh and the game is incredible.
I hate being at school because it's not Max Payne 3

The lock on stuff can only be used if you're using a controller so the only people on those playlists are gonna be people who play with controllers, all keyboard + mouse users will be on free aim.

Did any of you guys use a specific download region server?
Since the steam install is incomplete, I believe that getting the complete files might do the trick.
Also, I raged on the steam forums like never before.
14hrs and a dude from Rockstar started taking support tickets from people, to find out what's not working.
Gam euns perfect, sweet graphics, great gameplay most awesome everything, if this stuff is in GTA V I'll fucking buy it ten times.
