Ah fantastic. Not only do I have to pay double what most people pay because I live in Australia, but I have to wait till Tuesday to even get it. This is complete bullshit.
I thought it was world-wide on the PC version.
I thought it was world-wide on the PC version.
Yep, and they then proceed to say on June 1st that it was delayed until the 5th in Australia. Well, yesterday was the first I've heard of it atleast.
I know most people probably run and gun in multiplayer, but I find it's more fun to do things with tactics and shit with my friends online, on hoboken alleys, inside one of the buildings down the hall there was like 4 guys, so we snuck up, I rolled in and killed two of them as he killed the other two, it was one of the most awesome things i've ever pulled off in a video game and it wasn't even about how many people I killed, but the fact that we pulled off a small joint operation of sorts also bulletdodge kills are great, feels so good when you're like 5-6 feet above a guy and you shotgun him in the head or something of that sorts

A few moments later we both shootdodge out from behind the wall flying right next to each other shooting. That "just like the movies" award has never been so apt.
Just bought the game on steam. 8 hours DL time. ;.;
oh yeah, from the other day as well, me and my friend were both in cover behind like an archway, guy comes running towards us and we both come around at the same time, firing machine guns into the dude's face was such a glorious moment
I just realized this game doesn't have proper 16:10 ratio support. That's kinda lame. :c
So far, I haven't seen anyone use two one-handed weapons. Fuck your AK, my 1911 and MAC-10 will probably win everytime
This is the best game I have ever played. I love hard mode. It's actually hard because you have to be skilled, not just because of cheap AI and bad controls. The controls are perfect.
who said this game was too short? I've been playing all day on medium, and i'm getting my ass handed to me and i'm still not done, it's 5:27 am now :v:
Does anyone else have a lot of lag in MP? I see people skipping/warping around all the time. Not very fun when I get killed by someone who is 10 feet past a wall while I don't even see them on my screen.
I keep losing connection in multiplayer before the match begins.
M10 is the best Multiplayer game, by far
D'fuk, I meant to say best multiplayer weapon :v:
For a first time playthrough, what difficulty would anyone recommend?
Just finished the game on hard. I don't know if I'm just bad, but that was incredibly difficult, and the game took me about 10 hours to complete. Absolutely stellar game. Going to try replaying it on hardcore, and seeing how that goes. Also, as much as I loved the game, the flashback missions REALLY made me wish that they kept the game in New York.
I need to get used to how shitty the rifles behave in MP. For some reason, in SP they feel natural and easy to use, and in MP the recoil builds up so fast it makes most automatic ones unuseable.
tbh at first I thought the playthrough time sounded like it would be short, but it turned out to be a lot longer than I imagined...
For a first time playthrough, what difficulty would anyone recommend?
I played on the lowest difficulty and imo its more like a medium than an easy. So i'd recommend that. But i guess it depends on how good you are.

My friends on the console told me that medium would be a really really hard difficulty to dodge and jump around and so far on the PC, i've found that to not be true. I'm going to jump into multiplayer soon but i'm a bit hesitant for some reason
Maybe tomorrow...
I'm playing this on hard on PC. I can't imagine how much more difficult it would be on consoles, even with crosshair lock enabled.
For a first time playthrough, what difficulty would anyone recommend?
Medium is a nice challenge while not being over the top, I've made it to Chapter 3 and still haven't died once so far.
I hope modders will be able to unlock the pause camera so we can move around instead of pivoting around Max.
I always get "request failed" when i try to get an invite to FAPS, what gives? [editline]1st June 2012[/editline] Also my Social Club name is "CdnChocolate" if anyone would be willing to give me the invite instead.
When will the preorder bonuses be unlocked. Are any unlocked yet? And with that gorilla warfare pack I'm assuming the dlc pass has already started.
I wish they replaced the useless sprint with walking instead.

I heard Max doesn't have one single memorable quote in the game. Is this true? I'm hoping that rockstar is able to capture sam lake's writing style for his monologues.
